Dumped cars in your area

I'm no fan of MK5/6 Escorts, but that does seem a shame

A couple spotted in Belgium. Lancia was just outside a carwash parking area. Zafira is on a SORN and parked nearby where I used to live.

What kind of maniac abandons a Lancia Gamma in such good condition? Can't be genuinely abandoned, must just be parked until the owner sorts out whatever the Belgians have for tax/MOT/insurance, shirley?

I've always thought those are beautiful cars; remember being struck the first time I saw one.  They look better in dark colours, of course.  Off putting, however, is rampant rust and the dearth of decent manual versions.

I think work is being done to it. Inside the car were a pair of new number plates, what looked like a "for sale" (a Vendre) sign buried under some car gubbins, a phone number in the window and other vehicle related assortments in the seats and floor. It looks mid restoration but equally appears to have been parked there for a small while given the dust on it.

Not quite sure on the story here, they're at a storage facility (shipping containers), I've pictured the Scimitar before when it looked like it might be someone's project (in my Spottings thread I think).

There's clearly been a fire that's taken out a few modernz and thankfully only given the Scim some blisters.

No idea on the Merc minibus and bus behind

This seemed to have replaced a Focus and Jeep that sat in this spot for years

Another I've possibly posted before but I walk past it a lot - this was once the sea cadet's place along the river - suddenly abandoned including leaving the car behind. Other than a now-broken windscreen there doesn't look a lot wrong with it.

All a bit mysterious

1 owner from new, hasn't even had it's first MOT yet 🤔

Aerial view of the place from whenever Google took their pics - if I'm not much mistaken the Mazda is there in the corner

This appears to be out of use. Seeing a lot of laid up cars lately, fuel prices maybe?

Must admit my A4 could easily be mistaken for an abandoned car right now. A few months of saharan dust build-up, a nearside tyre that only holds air for a week, and a block-paved driveway that's sprouted all manner of weeds in the past fortnight and it really is a sorry sight.

Both the 75 and Mazda haven't moved in ages. Both are sans MOT but remain taxed.

Spotted this Frontera last week. It is legal but looks like it's been sat under that tree for quite a while.
