Update on the Bentley from Lazy Spotters thread. I found out today that it is officially abandoned. I have rented the space from a neighbour for the Jag when it arrives here from Scotland next week. Apparently it was parked up a few years ago, the neighbour doesn't have a car and never thought to even check their allocated space down there. When they told me which number space it was, they dumbfounded when I asked the fate of the Mulsanne. Building Management say it has been there for years.

O well, they will have to get it moved by Monday, and are attempting to trace the owner, although have no records at all.

Anyone interested (I expect moving it will be a massive challenge) in it should the Management throw it up for unofficial auction?

Am assuming this is in London somewhere? If so will start the bidding at 2 tonnes of mixed metals £120 if the building owners will give me some paperwork saying it has been sold to recoup storage costs

The local Audi A3 finally got moved. Looked like it had lost a fight with the back end of an artic, bonnet crumpled and the windscreen ripped but no bumper or wing damage? Gone under summat and then dumped at the side of the road.

So it lost an alloy first, then gained police aware stickers (which clearly read "free parts" to the locals). Back lights went, then one morning the passenger door was blowing in the breeze and it looked like the seats had gone. Bonnet was up a few days later with all the plastic gubbins off the top of the engine laid out alongside the car so presumably various sensors and expensive bits had now gone.

The old GLC building behind London Eye. Lots of abandoned treasure down there.

Maybe fling a V888 form at the DVLA and see if the owner has changed their address with them? I imagine that the manament would have better luck in getting a response than a private individual though.

There was, up until a few days ago, a Rover 25 attached to a mouldy old caravan dumped outside Oxford Road Tesco in Reading. The bottom end of the car park has become a hive for abandoned vehicles, for some reason.

There's a stretch of road that I drive on every day that has an unusually high number of houses with gardens filled with old Mercedes. This one is the only one not in a garden but instead in a small industrial estate just off said road. There are several more W220s along the way.

The Clio in my local Tesco car park is still there.

It's been there three and a half months.

Perhaps they are doing a really big shop.

Probably arguing with the self service till about an unexpected item in the bagging area...

X type Jaaaag in the local car park. Been there about 2 months now. Very very rusty, mot checked it and its up in a couple of weeks. Plenty mentions of galloping rot.

Their sat at the customer service desk trying to exchange something...

Pic of lopsided P38 incoming. Dumped less than 100 yards from that tidy Fiasco i posted way back.

Been listing on the docks for at least two weeks now.

I tweeted Tesco about it (and they replied - at 4am!). They seem to know it's there and it's 'awaiting removal'.

Which probably means it'll be there forever.

The Mulsanne was dragged out of the way to make way for a lowly Jag, which had just driven 400 faultless miles stopping only for fuel. Clocked up 163k along the way.

There has been an articulated lorry trailer dumped in a layby near Bridgnorth for a couple of weeks. Kept forgetting my camera

It  was full of soil and general junk by the look of it. No lights on rear and it looked like it was just unhitched and left without putting the legs down in quite a hurry. I bet that cost a bit to remove!

I am pretty sure i read about this happening in Liverpool not that long ago, They just filled up old lorry trailers with junk etc...& then dumped them in streets, old bits of waste ground etc. I am sure one of them was that heavy, the landing legs went through the road surface.

This Kangoo's been sat on four flat tyres on my road for nearly a year now, it moved once or twice when I first saw it appear but hasn't since.  On Friday, a note appeared on the windscreen so its days are numbered.

Seems mad, 55 is new!  Mind you, MOT history shows it's got 265,000 on the clock although it looks like it was well cared-for, not many failures and it currently has Alfa Romeo seats.  I might shove a note under the wiper, if it's going, I would like the seats out of it!

Tax and MOT ran out nearly a year ago so it's done well to survive this long on a public road, albeit one that isn't very busy.

Not dumped as such, more like storage evictees, but that not inconsiderable collection of 1980s Mazdas near me has completely disappeared. They were being kept on some spare ground owned by a large breakers yard, I hope the owner had perhaps founds new premises or something.

Wow, I've never seen a dumped P38 before!  I'd imagine the owner got driven to distraction and is now receiving counselling.

Lots of value in that as a breaker though

The supply of 'previously loved, now abandoned' vehicles 'round here seem to have dried up.  Nothing since the burned out Micra last year.

Honda Civic dumped in the Iceland car park in Morden, south London. Untaxed since July, MOT expired September.

Rangey is MOTed and taxed but not insured.

Been there ages, moved once to the same place as the Berlingo for a day about two weeks ago. Odd. post-19867-0-79165500-1485204814_thumb.jpg

Yes! I've seen that. Looks a bit creepy and a bit dangerous to be honest. Does look full to the top full of rubble and rubbish. I think it's been there for well over a month. I'm pretty surr I saw it there in at least November as I was working for the other firm at the time.
