An ageing motorist

He is a 62-year old inbred country bumpkin, for chrissakes!

Is it only me, or is anyone else having the impression, that the mainstream propaganda machine is lately set to increasingly campaign against older drivers?

Elderly driver's have given me many minutes of unbridled hilarity when I least expect it, so I'm on their side :-D

I tried many combinations to work out what the 'DE JURE' number plate really is and nothing came up.

Aye. I'm willing to bet no road legal status at all. Bet they didn't nick him for those trivial matters though.

Is he one of these 'freemen on the land' type mouth breathers?

De jure - according to rightful entitlement...

It's not that bloke who was on here a while ago going on about buying precious metals and diesel maxis is it?

Could it not just be a bad spelling of the French, du jour?  The internet says: used to describe something that is enjoying great but probably short-lived popularity or publicity.

That could work here, there's a right pea souper coming out the back of it (London circa 1962 joke there for you)

Forget the police, it's the animal liberation lot he needs to worry about now.

Not just an innocent ageing motorist...

I love the smokescreen idea but that daft plate is just asking for trouble by winding up the law....

Would love to hear more about this chap, sounds interesting. He was pulled out of his digger and beaten by cops earlier this year apparantly....

Sounds like a fruitcake

I instantly assume the worst of the police, but I can't help thinking that he's either made that up, or there's a lot more to it; what would you need to be doing in a digger to prompt a policeman to pull you out of it? Whatever it was, I don't have any trouble at all believing that a man who had a 309 fitted with a smoke screen is capable of it.

Maybe he was smashing moles with the bucket?

EDIT:  there's a statement I never thought I'd see myself type.

Confession story.

Once, when  was young and stupid, I was servicing my sisters Mk1 Escort and overfilled the sump.

The fix was obvious, just drain the excess oil and recheck the level, but not before I drove around the block and covered the whole suburb in smog.

He strikes me as the eccentric type with few friends and a habit of making new enemies.

I'd buy him a lager beer, although I fear he'd prefer a Bishops Finger...

In the mid 80's I did the full Redex treatment on my mates Marina Cooooopay. We worked at a bar/restaurant in Delamere at the time. This particular morning saw the owner clean all of the windows.

The full Redex treatment saw Mr. Molekillers efforts and trebled them. I believe there were reports of a sudden and choking fog on the local radio. The windows didn't stay very clean for long :)
