The Bosch pump goes straight onto a Lucasszz equipped TUD5, even the big cast mounting bracket is the same.

You'll want to swap the pump itself, the injectors and their metal pipes and maybe one or two of the plastic feed/ return pipes.  When the pump is off, remove the armour over the stop solenoid and run the switched live right to it.

 

Every Bosch VE I remove now, I change the shaft end seal for a modern viton one.  They're available on ebay for around £7, genuine.  I've had two go mushy due to biodiesel and when that happens it ruins your cambelt (and day!)

 

I'd love the PAS setup from your car Bub, but time and distance are against me.  Good luck mate.

Can soon be sorted -  a guy did a sub 10 minute lap of the 'Ring in a standard derv 106...

 

I'm afer a reliable run about for 8 or 10 months, thats all, not need anything too quick. Has to be 20 years old and veggable though!

They feel very similar to drive IMO... 106/ Saxo are great fun to blat about in!  In fact, they're much the same vehicles under the skin.

my first car was a 1995 ph1 106 1.5 xrd. it was awesome in a 70mpg on chip kinda way. not in a explosive gearbag way.

That Friday one is well tidy and propper retro for a 106. I've been after a set of those 13 inch alloys for a while but they are as elusive as a wild haggis running in the hills.

I've only driven a petrol one but it feels a bit 'lighter' than a 205 but just as good to drive, the non-assisted steering is better as well.

I think that was an AX diesel, unless TUDs are popular on the 'ring now.

My rusty turd of a Panda went to a school in Wolverhampton to teach kids mechanics and car repair. They will also no doubt have learnt welding,removing 4lbs of fibreglass paste from the bottom of a door and dealing with a sump made of chemical metal!

If they're not gone any chance of you removing the injector pump, pipes and injectors and having them sent to me by courier ?

Courier seems to be about £7-50 so I'll bung you £25, I'm a 4+ hour drive by diesel 106 or a 6+ hour drive by diesel AX from you.
