Nissan Micra 1.0S *RAFFLE* £4 ticket/3 for £10.50

2000 W reg. Nissan Micra 1.0S
MOT March
Taxed to get you home (if you're very quick message me about this)
80,000 on the clock
Power steering
Dreadful yet slightly snazzy (by 1950's standards) CD player
Seems to run great
I don't think it's too bad underneath, but like the man in the built up shoe, I stand to be corrected.

Looks pretty horrible, surface rust to at least 3 wheel arches, front bumper comically badly over sprayed in places
Needs an industrial jet wash outside and in.
Something (not radio) is draining the battery after a few hours, or it's knackered.

*RAFFLE: £4.00 PER NUMBER OR THREE FOR £10.50!*

God that's fucking awful, really, really fucking awful. Well done for saving it and lobbing it on here.

Oh, did you manage to speak to the tossers?

Run Away!!!!

In fairness the only thing that will kill it is rust.

It's had a new centre section exhaust fitted. Crazy.

The K11 is a fab car - my first 1.0 I used to get 47MPG day in day out - this dropped to about 44 with the second one, they are boringly reliable and will survive any amount of mechanical neglect.

Rust, however is the silent killer with these.

I did 7 years on the K11 shovel and migrated to its bigger brother the N16. Love em. And I would happily have my kids blez around in one as a first car.

I did have a quick shufty underneath and it seemed ok, but you never know I suppose. I was going to go to work in it yesterday but the battery wasn't holding enough charge to start it, will try and get a volt meter over it and see what it throws up.

Now just* £199!

Great cars these K11s. Ma_Sterling still has hers, and has had it since 1999, it's outlasted all the shit I've driven so far so yeah, these aren't bad.

Would, but can't.

Good luck.

Im almost* tempted.

Almost.

But Ive also had an email about a Tomos moped on a 14 plate that Im giving serious consideration to bending the plastic over....

Seems too cheap. These still change hands for £450.

Better than a ford KA but still hateful little things on the rot front! If i had £199 I would pay you to leave it running with a brick on the throttle until it goes bang lol

Knowing these things it would probably run out of fuel before it went bang.

Nice pics Billy, but where's Barbara?

You have a point there! This car needs CHELSEA_DOGS_FACE_ANTIQUES_ING. I just need a picture of a grand piano now.

I've just whanged the jump leads on this and it fired up first turn.

Worth a raffle at £4 a time/3 for £10.50?

Don't think I've seen a facelift facelift so early. I had a V reg and it still had a Lucas dizzy rather than coil packs.

Rust  Rust and more. When we started building micra's the coils of steel came with a organic film, for rust protection. Then cost cutting set in,the film was removed from the coils and we were given spray bottles containing organic film and were told to spray the finished panels, this was very time consuming so we were told to spray over the top of a finished stillage/box.  Spray bottles would be filled with coke other soft drinks(or piss) could be used, This didn't last long and soon fell by the wayside.

If I win this, Bub can have it.  Surely a change of luck is due?
