In fact now I think about it the best nickname for a car has to be my Council Estate, the Joe's Charme Pleasure Wagon or Pete's Yakuza Happy Death Express.

tincorna = Cortina

hobin foot (cobbler last with 3 branchs)= 3 wheeler esp regal. term used by my father during my childhood

My Auntie called her K reg Ford Fiesta (a 1.8 DLX....) a 'Dagenham Dustbin'. I pointed out that it might not have been built in the UK, but elsewhere in Europe...

 

Car nicknames are all a bit MEH really.. Apart from 'Sherpa Coupe' obviously.
