1990 Granada Ghia 2.0i Manual saloon. MOT to April 2016

Original purchase and warranty invoice, Dealer pack with FSH (initially stamped then paper invices for independent garages, all old MOT's which allow the 56K showing to be substanciated)

Nice condition overall. The paint has held up well with no peeling lacquer, shines well but there is wear and tear to be expected of a car of this age. There are a few shallow parking type dents (see pic for the worse one) The rear arches have has new metal let in at some stage, done well but being picky the paint finish to the rear arches although looks reasonable, up close there is a little bit of an orange peel finish in places to the arches and the adjacent rear door shuts need finishing properly. There is some locallised bubbling to the outer sills, but wasnt serious enough to worry the MOT tester.

The interior is well kept, minor wear and tear to be expected of a car of this age. There is cracking to the dash top. The electric windows, mirror and central locking all work, as does the electric sunroof, which will tilt but sticks a bit on slide.

The car drives really well. Recent work includes new battery, new front discs and pads (the rears look quite pitted) and a new exhaust. The car doesnt overheat but over a period of use the coolant seems to need topping up every few weeks. The car has a set of 24V cosworth alloys fitted which have almost new tyres all round.

Id like £350

Nice indeed, lovely to see a saloon version too but wrong kind of transmission for these barges ;)

Black leather would look ace in this.

Oh what?

I was hankering after one of these for ages before I went all TurboSwede. And that is a bargain price too, if it hangs around at that there's something wrong with the world. WORLD IS NOT WHAT IT USED TO BE or somesuch.

Give it 2 weeks....If you still have it, I'll have Numbers 6 and 21................... :-P

Go on , raffle . It will be the first within practical distance from me

Don't raffle it, it's a nice car, at a very reasonable price.

If it was a hatchback, automatic and not a Ford I'd be interested (maybe) GLWTS.

Ooooft, seriously tempted by this. Dad had a K reg 2.9i saloon in dark grey and I loved it.

Nice and rare with the manual box too. Tried sending you a PM but it won't let me for some reason

Ohhhhh,if this was a diesel, and an estate, and a Cosworth, and an automatic hatchback, and the price was higher/lower, id have been all over this, etc

How do you lot get reasonable classic insurance on these things. No garage, but a rear driveway, 45 years old, and the quotes are around £500! Seriously tempted but can't find a cheap insurance quote.

If this was a Chrysler PT cruiser I wouldn't buy it

Mega barg, when you considering I'm spending more to bring a newer, lesser Sierra back to life it makes me wonder what I'm doing seem completely pointless and financially stupid.

I feel compelled to keep visiting this thread. Luckily the location is in another time zone.

^^ How do you think I feel - I'm 933 miles away (to my house) and 615 to Aberdeen ferry terminal and would happily go and get it.

If it turns out that I do get it, I want to see no more "Oooooh I'd have this if you weren't so far away posts" :-)

I'm seriously on this... Where in Devon are you located?

What's the spec list? Heated seats, AC, ABS, etc... Not expecting anything, just intrigued.

This would do a superb job of pissing off the neighbours at my gaff.
