We have been hacked

We were hacked first thing this morning and server was deleted totally.

Now back up but backup was yesterday morning,this turned out to be corrupt.So we are now on latest available backup which is couple of days old.

This means we have lost a lot of posts,i could probably recover many of them by repairing database but this would take quite a while so decided not to bother as it would mean board would be down while it was being done and wanted to get back up & running as soon as i could.

 

So apologies for any lost posts etc but beyond my control.

 

We had well over 1000 attempted hacks prior to successfull one.

I was downloading backup when it happened & was able to stop any data being grabbed,but was unable to stop corruption of server.This has now been hardened with a better firewall & protection.
