I'm only in if I can get a terrible folding caravan in time to tow behind the Xantia/Princess.  I don't do tenting and I'm not doing Shitefest in Wales if I'm not stopping over because I'm a great big wuss.

I suppose I could just chuck a mattress in the back of the Xantia, that's probably the sensible option isn't it? Use condensation to stick newspaper to the inside of the windows like they do in Italy.

I slept in the back of a Renault 25 at SF2012, so a Xantia estate will be ample room.

I'll check with the hotel when I'm back but I doubt it'll be a problem. A mini Welsh roadtrip could make this Shitefest a real treat!

That's what most people did last year. Will made curtains out of cardboard boxes but I don't think the rest of them bothered about privacy.

The museum is free on Friday the 5th June, and there is also apparently a large gathering of Morgans in the town that weekend. Given that it would be difficult to top the 2014 venue I'm suggesting a scenic drive down through Wales to Devil's Bridge for the Saturday night, if that appeals.

 

Depending on where I'm starting from (work) I could be heading past Derby, and I'm sure there will be others.

I'd assume nearer the time the Midlands Massiv may arrange a convoy from somewhere.

Hmm... Llangollen couldn't be less on the way to Devil's Bridge from where I am.  Might have to take Friday off.  (Maybe Thursday too if I'm travelling by Mills-o-Matic Renault 16.)
