I think they are 155/80 13.  Might drop by the local garage and see what part worns are in.

The trailer is currently wearing one tyre it came with and the old spare tyre from the Dacia.  Someone identified the rims as MK1 Fiesta.  I have a Mk3 Escort rim as a spare but it's 165 tyre slightly rubs on the trailer frame.

With things like this it's always slightly annoying that none of my vehicles appear to have interchangeable wheels.

Due to various circumstances the delivery of our new container has been delayed until Thursday.

Getting ready including lifting the Visa body out of the way is now delayed until Wednesday afternoon (13 April). Anybody free to help?

I should be able to drop by for a couple of hours to lend a hand, is the one day this week there's actually not something in the diary already!

How friendly are the company delivering the container?

The easiest way to move the Visa body could be to attach some form of lifting straps now then ask the driver to lift it with their giant HIAB when they arrive?

 

I imagine the JCB could lift it but I can't see it being a simple job.

 

Perhaps in the future you could adapt one of the 2' wagon chassis for moving dead cars to a 2 post ramp in the barn.  That would need the JCB to get involved.

I don't think the JCB will have any trouble lifting the Visa body, we just need to sort of lifting rated straps. I hope the tow ropes I have will do the job, but don't stand under it!

I don't think dangling from the back bucket or riding on the front forks is a good idea to take the Visa down the field  so we may need to place it on the car trailer to move it.

I was going to suggest a sled of some sorts and drag it. Trailer sounds better

I thought you meant a scooter tyre 😕 I do have one brand new one...

I do also have a set of 4 MK1 fiesta rims and tyres, not sure on tyre sizes , buried in my lock up ....

Alas I probably can't get to the FoD , my last two attempts have caused failings with the Sigma 😪😪.

But if anyone is passing Horsham enroute I could try and get them out ......🤯

I could divert if I did come up, but getting 4 wheels and tyres in the boot of an MX5 could be interesting unless they're Lego...

That's a kind offer but I think some fresh rubber is probably the easiest answer for now.

Will grab a matching rim at some point in the future if you are going to get rid of them though.

Also got a set of MK1 mx5 daisies ...

And another set of 4 X 100 alloys ...

And some long ratchet straps available for shits n giggles when you load 12 wheels n tyres on an MX

My Easter visit to family is now off due to mild Covid issues (theirs, not mine).

The silver lining in the cloud is I can now attend this - for Saturday at least - and poss Sunday as well 😀.

I've still got the dc25 from rich, mighty tempted to modify it to be a bit more compact and stick it in the car for mouse nest removal, it did a bloody good job and ran off the generator really well which is a bonus

I had a floor standing , full height pillar drill in my Mx , luckily it was a sunny day so I did have the roof down ... I was told it was a bench drill ...
