Cars you didn't know existed until very recently.

I'm quite partial to the Toyota Mega Cruiser, myself.

Of course it's available in RHD.

Would it matter...?

Renault Sherpa!!!!

On the Wikipedia page for that it states...

The Renault Sherpa should not be confused with the Leyland Sherpa.

As if.

Vauxhall Grandland. No picture as you wouldn't thank me.

I googled it. Looks like someone inflated an Insignia.

Posted

I honestly wouldn't have noticed it, was the remit to design an SUV that looks just like all the others?

Posted

Well car makers are dammed if they do and dammed if they don't.

Make an SUV like all the others = Grandad land.

Or

Make an SUV not like all the others = Juke.

Nobody wins.

Speaking of lifestyle SUV nonsense, I saw a Volkswagen T-Roc on the M4 yesterday.

Was that in Brighton? It's been knocking about for years but I've somehow never managed to see it in the metal. Excellent colour.

"HONKER is also perfect car for people, who expects simplicity from their vehicle, and who likes to get further then the others."

That’s not a honker, that’s a Bukhanka*.

Click on their tab..it takes you to Honkerness. Plenty of other madness there. I like the smiley Transit clone.

There were a couple of Fiat 850 spiders languishing in a shonky shed visible from a footpath near my old place at Uttoxeter

In France on Monday & saw several new Renault Espaces, I didn't know they made this new version & I have to say they looked really smart, quite low and sleek more like an estate than an SUV thing. I also saw one badged "Initiale" on the tailgate where the other say "Espace", this used to be a trim level on Renaults, but seems to be a model now.

Courtesy of a recent spot on the other forum by Seth is this, the (Autocars) Rom Carmel.  It looks dreadful.  I'd like four.

The Hobbycar. It's amphibious, and it has a 1.9 XUD turbo with what looks like a Bosch pump, and it has hydropneumatic suspension!

What on earth did I see today? It was on an R reg. R***BCH I think it was.

It looked like a modern incarnation of a Fiat Topolino / Triumph Mayflower. Horrible, but what was it? I assume it was Japanese and based on a Micra?
