The world ran out of car names in 1992. Manufacturers have had to make them up ever since

I would say Skoda just used old names including girls names which work well but even they've given up now, #Karoq #kamiq #enyaq ffs.

That's actually pretty clever of LEVC. 90% of the development already done and a market (in London) for electric vans. Wonder if they'll do a pickup

Has it been finally realised?

VW didn't need tracks to cope with Antarctica

When you watch the vid it says that VW made false claims about that car. So a leopard  car company never changes it's spots.😉

Apologies if someone else has put this up before:

Christina GT500 https://www.gumtree.com/p/other-vehicles/take-the-electric-highway-in-our-100-all-electric-car/1396375042

I've tried googling for this thing, without success.

There are loads on alibaba that are similar-ish, the usual china bollocks of copying each other; I think the Blavalauto-M7 Standard is the same or very similar car, but that may just be the pictures of course, order one and what you get after 3 months on the slow boat from China is anyone's guess.

LUAZ-969M nee ZAZ 969, also known a 'Volin'. This had the distinction of being the first FWD Soviet car followed by being the cheapest Soviet  four-wheel drive car. Produced with various names and configurations from 1966 to 1992.

They did take them off road -

Admittedly this is a publicity shot, for a later, more modern version. But it you ticked the right box on the order form (or they delivered the wrong one), you could get this -

The Baur-Kohl Coupe was a coupe conversion of the E30 3 series with a huge rear window. They weren’t just a one off, as there’s at least 3 left. I can’t find much about them, but they seem to be a Baur convertible with a solid metal roof; the rear quarter windows look like they’re the same.

I knew the Japanese likes their ‘homage cars’ but never seen a Pajero Junior ‘flying pig’ before apparently this is a rare as hens teeth, only about 139 ever sold but quite who’d want to save this horror is beyond me.

Seller has admirably taken loads of pics yet has still to capture a good angle...
