Cars you didn't know existed until very recently.

Mrs Fox looks a trifle nervous in the first pic, and tbh I’m not surprised.

This may be where BSA got the inspiration* for the Aerial 3 from.

Rolls Shooting Brake - not sure if this is real or photoshopped? I feel it's the latter but not sure.

That’s a photoshop, and not a great one given where the door handle/door shut and the ‘b pillar’ are in relation to each other - the original photo would have been of a Corniche I reckon.

1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo SS Aero.  Not a homebrew, an actual option that was available towards the end of the car's production to allow Chevy to use more aero parts in racing.  Basically a US homologation special.

To those of us of a certain age the Le Dandy was a common sight on the dining room table.

Fiat idea? Saw one as a dominoes delivery car. Never seen one before.

The Fiat Idea was so called after the last thing Michael Caine said in the Italian Job "hold on lads, I've got a great idea" (probably)

Started off called the 'Tara King' by French designer Dominique Billiote in 1973. Used a NSU Ro80 engine.

Then, in an attempt to re-introduce it in 1981 it was called the 'Nancy, and badged as, errrrm, the 'Tony Russell'.

Interesting looking thing, wonder where it is now.

Rear seats didn't actually function as on-board toilets, as far as I'm aware.

The days when the car of the future was seen as sleek and low  - not  a massive 4x4  pick-up weighing 4500kg.

1969 Opel CD concept.

I'm not sure how a human being with legs is actually supposed to sit in those seats.

The result of a literal translation of 'bucket seat'.

No pics but saw a Renault Talisman in Rome. Never heard of them.

I saw one in France - a bit generic really looking like a lot of other cars. Not imported into UK or other RHD markets! So generic it's not even worth posting a pic...if you want to see what it looks like Google...

Saw one I can't ID today. Yellow Nissan, looked like a Cube, 4 seater but with a small pickup bed. Looked factory - PG51 MTY

I'm not sure I get the point of this. Unless it's a lifestyle* thing.

Thank god I don't have the style of life that involves one.

.

^ now we're seeing retros go the full circle..  Upright boxy style*,  suicide door ..just on one side for the paying guest,  almost running boards,  handles for the coach men to hang on to,  place for the trunk on the outside..    what's that make it, Edwardian ?

Alfa...something.

Alfa Romeo Tipo 33 Stradale. Drop dead gorgeous.

It seems there's some variation in the front ends. The ones above have double headlights, whereas the one below has single headlights and a vent in the front wing.

But googling the above (more precisely AROnlineing the above, which is always the go to site for anything BMC related) led me to the Autobianchi Primula.

A very pretty small Italian thing that comes in 4 door, 2 door and coupe versions. Styling seems to be a cross between contemporary BMC (which was Farina anyway) and Fiat. Looks very neat. Would.
