Cars you didn't know existed until very recently.

That Verona looks like a cut and shut of an Orion and a Sierra Sapphire that somehow lost a pair of doors along the way.

Followed a funny looking rear end today; when the traffic jam intervened I was introduced to the Suzuki Kizashi.

No photo but LL13XAA for proofs it happened.

Kizashis are 4WD and have 185bhp, six speed manual or CVT. They're ace Q-cars but very very rare.

^^^ Absolutely under my radar. And, even rarer in my biased view, a Suzuki passenger car that actually looks quite neatly styled.

24-carat futureshite, for sure - rocking horse dung rarity combined with surprising performance. A Colt Cordia for the 21st century... stash now.

I have form in this thread for spotting really ugly 4x4s.

The other day (not far from Goodwood) we spotted what appeared to be a Rolls Royce SUV.  Or possibly a Victorian fireplace towing a Range Rover.

It was spectacularly ugly.

One of these then. Somewhere around £250000. post-18002-0-10438100-1530346506_thumb.jpg

As far as i am aware we only got the auto Kizashi in the uk. I have had 3. Fantastic cars, other than the £500 odd road tax band.  :)

Gradually the Bentley and Rolls brands are being devalued. If is not an original Rolls they should go after them for copyright. IMHO there is a place for a Rolls offroader - but it should be the ultimate in engineering and usefulness - not some gin-palace. Here is T E Lawrences 1908 Rolls used in the desert - so there is a precedent for one...

Toyota Crown too big?  You'll need a Toyota Tiara then.

Has just a hint of 60s Opel about it.

I seem to be the only person who prefers the looks of the plug-in version of the Prius!

I'd like it more if it didn't suffer from a wheel-to-bodywork ratio that makes it look like it's got cankles.

This car has been mentioned on the thread before, I saw a real one! MPM PS160. It looks a bit unfinished in this colour scheme.865be17f3e2d951c55396b8acf255372.jpg

Great spot! Where'd you see it LP?

In the northwestern suburbs of Paris near Cergy, it seemed to be owned by a building site gaffer.

I think it looks better too, at the back and the front...

I know what you mean, but the problem is that putting bigger wheels on it puts it into the next CO2 class. I found I could forgive the odd look when I understood the reasoning behind it!

You may want to get your IT guy(s) onto that, you have three comments all of which are spam and/or dodgy links.

Cheers, deleted now. Problem is that the site was forced to move over to Disqus when Intensedebate went all doolaly. It's a bit of a spam free-for-all on older posts that escape moderator attention.

Not like this place, where such behaviour is swiftly and robustly dealt with.

I knew about the later 90s Ford Tempo.  I didn't know about the earlier 80s ones.  What's weird is the four door sedan versions look like a really chunky oversized version of our native four door hatchback Sierra.

How wonderfully bizarre! Front on almost looks like a Starion.
