Actually I just recounted and we've got two of those

Did you count my dad's D701SWL (he's had it since new), if not then we have 3.

Are there many pre-war car owners on here. I used to have a 1939 fiat 508c which was a lovely car and so regret selling it. Bought by an American who exported it to Israel.

With the price of pre war cars now I would guess not. But I would like.......

I have a Triumph 2500TC MK2 manual saloon is that close enough to a 2000?

I had a Triumph 2000 Mk2 which I nicknamed Sleepy as the first 3 letters were SLP it was in a dark blue so it looked like a 70s police car.

But how about the original Triumph 1300 fwd has anyone had one of those..

I remember my father having one years ago and it seems that 90% were light blue.

How many people on here own old Talbots or Chryslers these days. Maybe the Rover 400 is the new Solara?

I still have my Solara.

I also had a Giulietta.  Probably still would have if it hadn't been pikey'd whilst I was moving house.

I had a Talbot-Matra Murena until I borked it and sold it to my spanner dude.

I'll be amazed if anyone has a Hudson Hornet lurking in one of their sheds...

I've had a few - '34 Hillman Minx, '38 Vauxhall 10 and '38 Renault Novaquatre.  Plus a '46 Austin Ten which was pre-war in all but name.  As 6-cyl says though, sadly beyond my means these days.

Does anyone have a Bristol?

A female member here has submitted photographic evidence of an ample pair.

Vauxhall Viceroy/Opel Commodore?

Doesn't Mr Bickle have a Viceroy?  Fairly sure I remember a photo of a white one from an old thread somewhere.

A Wolseley Hornet might be more realistic.

If 1960s, then does anyone here have a mark 1 or 2 Cortina? :?

I've got a mk1 :-D

Given the general Rover love around here, I don't remember anyone saying they have a 100 or 600.

There's a couple of bubble-rovers, but is there a Rover Streetwise?

I had a MK2 Cortina that the wife purchased for me for Christmas about 8 years ago.

Don't think so. On the subject og Volkswagens, has anyone got one of the 1988 style Pisshats?

Although there are at least two later Daewoos (just before they bcame Chevroletised) around this parish there seems to be a notable lack of the earlier ones, not just the Nexias and Esperos, but the Lanos, Nubira, Legenza, etc. Continuing on the Korean theme, I can't recall anyone admitting to a 10 Year + Hyundai or Kia. There is a Kia Pride for sale locally, so perhaps it's time to open the batting for the dog-munchers ;)

Edit: mention of J reg Protons reminded me of an immaculate one spotted in Lichfield on Saturday. Unfortunately it was dusk and also absolutely hissing down so please excuse the abysmal photography :(

I spotted a J-reg Proton a couple of years ago.

Go get it. It is on current Google Street View and looks like it is actually in use. See here (Sorry, OS map link as I can't work out how to link to streetview).

Nice colour also!
