Looks reasonable from the outside, not sure on those 'bumpers' though. The inside is a bit of an eye-bleeder but there are indeed much, much worse examples out there. I'd quite like a Beetle, maybe one of the modern one's. It'll never happen though.

Awful. 99% of Beetles are arse but there's a few nice ones out there. This falls into the arse category.

 

The wings are pre-67 and make it look daft. The engine, whilst injected, still wouldn't pull the skin off custard so the harness and seats are laughable. I'd like a nice beetle and would consider a late model Mexican one but it'd be standard as a "fuck you" to the scene bellends. Or it'd be an early one with a big engine.

Not that anyone* including me, ever put a racing interior in a Ford Cortina/Capri/Escort 1300 in the 1970's. That would be just silly wouldn't it?

I had a lime green, ex Rotherham Council Viva HA van in the 1970's, I painted it black inside, fitted a chrome pancake air filter and removed the bonnet. Seemed like a good idea when I was 17. Now I am incredibly ashamed. Maybe in 40 years time so will they?

The bumpers are pure shit.

Pre 67 wings and a post 68 bonnet.
