the carrying handle on the back of that puuuumar, is that a pukka, for thing or just some bit of after market jizz tat?

I bought a 156 new in Holland in 2000 and when I went to collect it there was a line of 156s sporting pram handle spoilers ready to go out.

Who in their right mind specifies that? I asked

'English people' came the reply

Rat Rod Rat Style legendary Italian city car, rusted-out shell

Classified Ad price: £3,490.00

If it's that easy to fleece the English upon arrival to this great country, I've been a right old idiot for the past eleven years.

Well, I think I've been a right old idiot for the past eleven years, now that I think of it.

Italian...car....rusted-out shell

They want credit for a naturally occuring phenomenon?

In his younger days SnrYoof hitch-hiked around most of Europe.

He was once picked up by a Fiat 500 which was already three-up, and some say* that the person who invented Tetris was nearby watching him try to shuffle himself and a rucksack the size of Daventry into the rear seat without molesting or crushing any other passengers.

*Nobody. Nobody says that.

5,000 miles in the first 13 years or so (averaging 300 miles a year!), and then nowt for 18 years?

I suppose the MOT and service will put your mind at rest. And maybe they are intentionally pricing out the barries?

That £23k 205 has been reduced - by a grand. I can just imagine that generating a ton more enquiries:

"Did you ring up about that 205 GTI?"

"Nah, it's too dear, I only really want to spend £22000"

Update on the Peugeot 1.6 GTi

This listing was ended by the seller because the item is no longer available

Which I read as 'sold'

I have it on good authority that them racing pumas are the dogs balls.

Some bloke that I used to talk to a the school gates on a Friday was a Quality manager at Halewood JLR plant when it was still owned by Ferds. And a lad who worked for him had one of these on the cheap under the Ford employee discount scheme.  It was written off, and under the gap insurance he was due a brand new one, as it was less than 6 months old. They couldn't find one, and he refused to take a second hand one. I think it ended up getting rebuilt.

£2.5k for that doesnt seem an obscene amount to me, but the trees photoshopped into the background suggests you are dealing with amateurs

And thanks to all that extra weight no quicker than a boggo GTi. I doubt Lancia lost much sleep over it.

Those pictures make it look like someone attacked a shitty Golf with a Jetta grille and a tin of brush paint.

Not sure what 4x4 setup the Rallye used, but if it's like a Golf/Jetta Syncro, then not only would Lancia have been in hysterics at the performance of it, the only people losing sleep would be anyone that drove it thinking it would be good in snow - still have flashbacks of how utterly shit the Jetta Syncro was compared to the B2 90 Quattro and 405 GLx4 that preceded it. Let alone the Panda 4x4.

Fupping hate this just now. Dreaming fanboys thinking a non-Gsi Corsa is worth £££s. This guy's a right stargazer. Bear in mind that even the very best C20LET Redtop examples will struggle to make 3 bags, this guy thinks he can ask 3 and a half large for one with a 1.4 8v conversion with Yamaha bike carbs. 130bhp is not even formally backed up.

Not the most popular engine, but condition & low miles mean that it's surely worth - what, £1600 - £2000?

Keep going...

Those C8/807s seem to be more more synonymous with cambelt related hari kari than the K-Series is with you-know-what. I took one in PX recently that had cambelt failure twice within its warranty period.

I believe they have some hilarious design flaw where you have to remove the injectors to get the rocker cover off, the injectors are nigh on impossible to remove and I think this may mean you can't do the cambelt, therefore belt roulette leading to eventual failure.

There are an outfit on ebay that specialise in removing these injectors and repairing the borked engines, they offer to buy fucked ones so it may be worth 2-300 to them.

The way to do these is attach an injector to an engine crane then take the weight of the car on it.

Leave for couple of days, by then it should of come out ☺

Seriously
