That blue one.....

During her 10 years of ownership, she travelled a total of 5000 miles only on sunny days, and kept the car in a heated garage.

Utter fugging horsecrap. There's no way they can guarantee this to be true. I blame the doctor entirely for this epidemic of fairy-tale car selling, where Mrs Miggins only used the car to drive to church, cos she was a nun like, and it was kept in a protective force field, and instead of shampoo it was washed every four minutes with the tears of kittens.

Also, of the beige one

This car has only ever been serviced as per schedule, it has never been interfered with, or worked on in any way.

Today the car has had the following works done.

New battery
Fresh oil & oil filter (Genuine parts)
All brakes stripped, cleaned and checked
New rear wheels cylinders (Genuine parts)
4x New tyres
Wiper blades
Gearbox oil replaced
Brake fluid flushed and renewed
Fuel system stripped and cleaned out
New exhaust system
New spark plugs (Genuine parts)

Way to contradict yourselves. Only ever worked on for routine servicing, but you've had the fuel system apart and been twatting around with the gearbox.

I'm sure that beige Fiesta is actually Dove Grey and was on the Bay of E not that long ago for about £2500...........I could well be wrong but I proper think it is. Some profit there like eh?

Do ya know it could even have been AutoTrader I saw it in.........Jeeez what am I like?

Not forgetting...

We are going to be fully stripping this car for a complete repaint

Also the front wing looks a different colour to me...

I'm pretty sure Classic & Sportscar did a whole article on that XK...the story of the bullet holes sounds strangely familiar

That's an awful lot of money, but they are semi-desirable because they corrode less than the one-piece doors.

Shame its not, but I dont remember seeing many when they were new, so rarity obviously drives up the dollars!

Interestingly, his main income seems to come from 'previously enjoyed' jazz mags.

If genuine the Monty looks about £2k's worth. Anyone in agreement?

Will be interesting to see what it goes for so I've added it to my watch list. 30 miles away from me too.

Car is at IP22 area.

If anyone's interested then this will be in the Diss area (Norfolk/Suffolk border) as opposed to Swaffham. :)

I wonder if he likes Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald and The Dave Brubeck Quartet? ;-) Nice! B)

^ We should be grateful - he says it's a one off. No more of the bloody things.
