To be fair theres no reserve on it so it should sell, just for like £3375 short of his BIN price. I'd pay 150 or something for that, in fact its gone in the watch list

I just sent him a msg on fleabay suggesting he checks the ad as its got a typo with the price (Should it be £650?) and that it would make a nice car with some cash spent tidying up the body....

i have a single and twin fan toggle switch that enables you to run the rad fans which solves the above issue

the bonnet is opened through a bonnet pop

180K miles but the shell has only done about 120K. Conversion was 108K on the shell and 169K on the engine.

The laquer is peeling in lots and lots of places - matt black it? i never had the heart todo it.

there are several foot sized dents on the right hand side mainly from vandalism. one on the rear quarter one on the passenger door and one in the driver wing. most of them should pop out. - ive never been bothered by them but for ebays sake ive pushed out the rear quarter dent with my hand and it took 2 secs and looks alot better. you can probably take the passenger door card off and push that out too.

Heater matrix has been bypassed so you have no heat in the cabin. its got a new heater matrix but the pipes feeding it are either corroded or its not seated properly

interior fan is intermitent but ive replaced the resistors and it worked fine untill i took the car of the road last year todo the head work.

the sump gasket needs replacing ( as stated i have a sump from a GTI6 but it needs one of the alloy lugs cutting off to clear the alternator before fitting)

no stereo or front speakers. exhaust has always been a little too loud

clutch is a little high but i think the clutch clip that holds the cable to the subframe has popped off again.

The dipstick doesnt register any oil. its been like this since i owned the original car in 2006. i've always changed the oil and filter every year and it doesn't use any oil. ive bought every other type of dipstick but can i find one that tells me what oil is in it. nope "

 

And it cost him a grand to have the head rebuilt! FFS....

 

It just gets better ....

A weekend of TLC and will make it a great car. The car is complete and getting rare

This Firebird has been for sale for a bout a year at £9200 (no offers). That may have something to do with the description in which dealing with the stroppy sounding  vendor sounds like a rather painful process

 

Suddenly it pops back up with what looks like little more than a stripe and repro decal kit for 400 quid more.
