That's not bad for one of those if it's in decent nick.

I have no idea what these rice rockets are worth, but this seems a bit steep, considering its a K10 Micra with what appears to be £150's worth of bodykit. Applied by S Wonder and S Hawking bodyworx...

£4495. I just don't get it. SOZ!

Ahh, a Super Turbo. A 1.3 litre engine with a supercharger and a turbo bolted on from the factory. Done after Lancia demonstrated the technology on the rally stage, and waaaaaaaaaaay before VW did the same thing with a piss-ant Golf and claimed they were startlingly original.

930cc these little crackers, but I take your point :)

Also, that 'Mexico' is completely the wrong colour.

Since when do these go for three-and-a-quarter in tatty condition?

Triumph Maylower

I may lower it, yes.

Oh, yes, I trust you 100%.

Especially the Rustoleum bedaubed bumpers enhance it no end.

A must see!

Yeah, right.

I'm pretty sure 4starclassics has featured in this thread before - most of his prices are equally laughable. Ten bags for an E12 520 anyone?

That's got to be a typo, shirely? More likely £7499 or something equally sensible*

However, this is quite remarkable: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Volkswagen-Polo-1-3-G40-/121070939618?pt=Automobiles_UK - yes, it's a tidy little thing, but come one, the price must be out by a factor of 5 at least?

That said, if they can get the prices they're asking, good on them, they have some lovely motors in that shiny white showroom.

Is there 70K's worth of cocaine hidden in the thing?

If not, I'm baffled. It hasn't even got a blue oval on it.

WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES

The little 10 inch steel wheels are in perfect condition and secured in place with some sparkling chrome nuts, they are all shod in a matching set of 145 R10 Diplomat boots that as you would expect still have their full amount of tread. The brakes have been fully tested and have no problem washing off speed.

I really wouldn't like to be doing any "Washing off of speed" on 40 year old tyres... I remember my Grandad trying to get me to try on some shoes that'd never been worn before and the rubber stuck to the ground and melted/perished instantly upon contact. They were 45-50 years old

Cool car the z. I'd say £25000 in that condition with that history. One sold a few years back at Barrett Jackson for almost 30000 dollars.

Kind of makes me regret selling two for £800 each.

I'd love to be a classic car dealer, sharing my white room with an ever changing selection of fascinating old motors. But I assume it's not possible to actually make a living doing it, unless you just happen to own a large amount of storage you don't need to pay rent on. There are so many dealers online who seem to have the same stock sitting around for months on end, and unless the Sultan of Brunei takes a fancy to one of them and hands over the asking price, how do they pay the bills?

Not ebay, but parked up locally:

1980s Mini, dented front panel, overspray everywhere, rust breaking through on seams, massive subwoofer badly cut into rear parcel shelf, non road legal rear tyres. And crucially here, no air conditioning.

QAR 70,000, or to put it another way, £12,700.

Those tyres:

Five times the price I paid for one in 2001. The wheels are wrong, looks like it's had the wrong springs fitted too. Should have BBS RAs and lowered suspension. It's also coming up to a £600 charger rebuild in 7000 miles.

Astonishing, but it is a fabulous colour scheme. You'd be amazed that Landy collectors will pay for rarities. Rumour has it early Range Rovers have been selling for £30k or more. Not even the VELAR ones.

almost 20k? Someone’s been sniffing the LHM.

What the actual fuck? And he claims fully restored it could be worth £60k???? I want some of those drugs please. Anyone want to buy my Datsun Violet? It's only £130,000 because I've done a pro-rata against condition/rarity and desirability of that Vogue.

VERDICT: STRAIT JACKET REQUIRED

I sent that Singer seller a message asking if that price was right and that there's still several other out there, this was his reply:

pls find me another singer vogue with a factory fitted ato gear box im willing to good money if you cant then may be it why it is is wot it is

- whbonny09

I replied with:

Rarity doesn't mean £££'s sadly, I had a 1972 Opel Kadett last year that was show standard and one of the only ones left in the UK and that still struggled to make £1800, That why this Singer only cost you £1500 and your adverts getting posted on numerous car forums.

It's worth £1950 top dollar as the autos aren't popular, just some friendly advice.

which he's replied:

like i said it a nice car its like marmite you either love it or hate but it is wot it is. thanks for your opinion

I give up now, you just can't help some people.

This advert pretty special, the twat selling this for nearly £20000 is using the same shite photos from the ebay listing which he bought it from for £1500! It's the biggest load of bollocks I've seen all year on ebay.

I sent him this....It is said that there are probably about 200 of these still on the road in New Zealand...there were at least 4 minta's in the town where I lived..u sir do not know the planet u are dreaming on.

"It attracts so many people we have had to move it away from the road side to avoid any accidents"

Thats the real reason why its got an odd door

As posted by somebody on AS facebook-o-vision:

FULL SERVICE HISTORY!

ALTHOUGH THE ODOMETER READING SHOWS THE MILES THE CAR MAY HAVE DONE WE CAN NOT IN ANY WAY GUARANTEE THE READING OF THE MILEAGE TO BE CORRECT

So why don't you use the "full service history" to verify the mileage instead of trying to deceive prospective buyers into thinking that this car hasn't driven over 200,000 clicks?

The exhaust is starting to look a little bit grotty in places on the 240 and I will probably need to change it before winter. I found this new old stock one on eBay For £10.90 BIN and £15.95 for postage.
