Other points:

 

*The colour of the car is a typical faded red which is quite common for these cars.

*Has a bump on the back where somebody reversed into it.

*Slight rust above the wheel arch

*Only has one wing mirror as somebody has stolen it when I went on a shopping trip.

*Has an issue with the exhaust where I think its slipped so its making a louder noise than usual

What were the alternatives with £175 to spend for a performance touring car that does not  might have to do daily duties?

that is shockingly shite with its 2 tone pogweasel pink paint, a 5 door, missing wheel trim and a sticker for a cheesyfit alarm which probably doesnt work or isnt even there, for those reasons

It looks pretty fetid but in all honesty £175 could buy a lot worse.  An afternoon with a polishing mop and some linseed oil would probably smarten it up no end.

I'll just run the Corsa for a bit and see what it's like before a half arsed attempt to move it on. I've found someone (locally) with a 306TD (albeit with a knackered engine) who might be up for a deal with the Corsa. Just in case I haven't got enough shite French cars as it is.

FIL is selling his Vectra 2.2D and his misusses Corsa C - slightly tempted with the Vecky as its low miles, but really is too bog for me.

But despite being very clean the Corsa is in no way tempting me at all. Not one bit.

Today was collection day and here are some thing what I learnded:

 

It's automatic (God knows how I missed that on the advert, but it's actually a plus point anyhow)

 

It can keep up with my 306 up to about 60mph, then gets past it.

 

It's eye wateringly dirty.

 

It'll be on Gumtree in the next ten minutes*

 

*After I've swapped the nearly new tyres onto the other Corsa.
