Odds on favourite is still the 504 estate as transport for me, ill have to update the thread. The fail list is presently at a local fabricators/ welders, so to buck a trend, it isnt for sale, nor been scrapped, and is due to have new metal added to various critical and not so critical places during next week.

Actually, I went and had another look at the field today. It's plenty big enough! My memory is rubbish. Glad I went there as the Landy Series III 'feature' that's been parked up there for years was about to hurl its side window glass to the ground. I pulled it off (it's just rusted away) and put it safely inside the rusting hulk. Maybe a brave person could sleep in that? It's a short wheelbase, but it does actually have a mattress inside it...

It's still early days, but it's currently 50/50 between the Beta Spyder & Storia for me. The Spyder is due an MOT in April, so that may be the deciding factor.

I shall have to borrow a tent or something as neither are suitable for sleeping in.

Just booked a room at the hotel for the Saturday night, £55 with a breakfast isn't bad really, better than sleeping in a freezing cold tent or car.

 

Who else is staying at the hotel?.
