Having just read in Practical classic that one of our own has a car featured,do any of you have a star car that has appeared on TV,magazine or on the web.Not just ebay or autotrader?

I had my Renault 9 parked down at the harbour while they were filming The Winter Guest. I was going to move it but it wasn't keen to start so they just covered it in fake snow. It's the one sitting on its own at 03:57 here.

Who's car is in Practical Classics magazine this month? I've been lucky enough to have both my Cortina and Kaddet feature in PC mag in the readers ridea section and Dollywobbler wrote a nice 5 page feature about my Kadett in Classic Car monthly.

John Simpson bought my MG Metro and it will be appearing in Practical Clasics as a project car - but of course not MY project car any more.

 

I also compiled a Rover800 Buyer's Guide for Classics Monthly a couple of years ago (they published it whilst I was in intensive care after a major heart op!)

A couple of old mercs i used to own were in the readers cars bit in PC a few months back. I picked up a w123 a few years back off Martin Buckley which he used to write about in 'mercedes enthusiast', and the sale/ collection was covered in his collumn in C&SC.

My nova rally car was the feature of a report of it and it's team competing in the 1987 Koln-Ahrweiler rally through the Eiffel mountains in Germany. Car was driven by the writer of the article, which was printed in a 1988 edition of Rally Sport Magazine. It was again featured in 1990 in a report covering the main contenders in the 1300 Group N rally championship. Scans to follow.

Practical Classics did a feature on my cortina 2.0s back in 2007 - vs a period cavalier, marina and avenger in a group test written by Keith Adams. I really enjoyed that day.

I had a mk3 cavalier, G28 XNC that was originally owned by Phil Redmond's production company and featured at least twice in the background shots of Brookside!!!

my old 2000E est was on the cover & in another feature issue of pc in late 90's plus in last series of old top gear.

 

my currant mk3 est has been in 2 films "faith" & "when the light goes out" my GT was in the later too.

my gt was feartured in fast ford in the 90's.

 

couple of my tinas have been in features in classic escort in mid/late 00's.
