The Peugeot 309 GTI and the Renault 4 are just great!

I think these 90's Corrola wagons are a brilliant bit of design.

You get Bags for Life but if you own one of these I reckon you'd have a Car for Life too.

Someone at work has one of these. It must be the rarest of the bug eyed Corolla variants even though, as you say, they would have been the most practical. Even when they were new I don't remember seeing many around.

My gran owned one from new, eventually lumping it off in 2011 for a Fabia estate once it started needing constant work to keep on the road. I wish I knew the reg to see if it's still going!

I have no idea what the story is with that tow bar!

I recall S1 or S2 Landys having those up front. Recovery or utility?

Papped in Sudbury.

The owner claimed there were now only two 1.3GL Mk1 Onions on the road.

There wasn’t much reason to buy a 1.3GL at the time. The 1.6 was about £200 more but had a 5 speed gear box rather than 4 and so was more economical as well as a better drive.

My niece spotted this today in Dublin:

There is a towing eye under there as can be seen on Fav.

The Felicia is identical but has a deeper bumper so it is normally covered with a removable insert. I guess it would be adequate for attaching a tow rope without all the hassle of fitting a proper tow bar but I've never seen anybody else do it.

This immaculate and rare VI today. I obviously didn’t take the picture. Only knew these existed thanks to Furious Driving.

A few Greek spots from today. Not quite as many old shitters on these streets as there used to be.

This was really tidy which must make it even rarer. The few that are left tend to be sheds.
