Arklow, Rathdrum and Wicklow town are growing more now than during the 00s boom. We're thinking about moving elsewhere tbh Sounds like it's going to the dogs. motorpunk, crad and 500tops 3
quicksilver Posted October 5, 2020 Posted October 5, 2020 Another exotic spot this morning. A works Talbot that was part of the team that won the 1932 Alpine Trial. One of its sisters sold for over £200,000 in 2008. And something completely different. I haven't seen a Nissan Urvan in forever. DVee8, phil_lihp, Dirk Diggler and 3 others 6

rusty998 Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I spotted this while out and about in Leafy Surrey due to a fence panel failure Yoss, danthecapriman, motorpunk and 1 other 4
rusty998 Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Yesterday when I popped into my mates garage a customer drove this in asking for some paintwork, i asked if I could take some pictures for a group of nutters who would appreciate this in its lowly Popular glory, I'm a sucker for small commercial vehicles as I spent decades bombing around in them, a lists of the modified bits, wheels, sticker on boot and seats from a popular plus with head rests as his wife wouldn't travel in it with the standard seats, enjoy 🙂 danthecapriman, L fallax, DVee8 and 8 others 11
rusty998 Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 There coming out of the woodwork apparently with a double whammy LT and Stag then this wonderful Old Rover puddlethumper, danthecapriman and Yoss 3
BorniteIdentity Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 Went to a customer's today in the Avensis. It looks shit rocking up in a 21 year old Asian Taxi - so I tend to park around the corner. Apart from the client saw me and drove over in his £72,000 70 Plate Mercedes GLS. Classic. Felt a bit embarassing tbh. Anyway - saw this on the way home and it made me smile. Although thanks to these and XR3’s - no boy at my school ever got even a kiss off of a girl because they were all hanging out with the 18 year olds. Bastards. rusty998, L fallax and danthecapriman 3
Aston Martin Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I saw a 6 door defender. Pretty sure it was this one.
L fallax Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 4CYL RWD van that hasn’t seen tarmac for many many decades, no clue what it could be so if you see any resemblance to a make or model leave a reply! No obvious way to identify it as there is no logo or VIN, interesting nevertheless Asimo, danthecapriman, Amishtat and 2 others 5

High Jetter Posted October 7, 2020 Posted October 7, 2020 I'd agree. Shame, there's a D-reg one locally that looks awesome, still working L fallax 1

quicksilver Posted October 8, 2020 Posted October 8, 2020 Went to the truckstop in Towcester today. A corner of the car park appeared to be stuck in 1994. The Micra is a 35,000-mile one owner car that's just been sold by the re-use and recycling centre on site and looked mint apart from the missing wheeltrims. crad, LightBulbFun and L fallax 3

Aston Martin Posted October 9, 2020 Posted October 9, 2020 I saw this on a flatbed. It looked like a prop from Blakes 7. Turns out its an industrial disinfecter for chicken coops. Vantman, spartacus, crad and 1 other 4

Probably not as thoroughly, it’s got a fridge , water tank and mains hook up , someone has gone to the trouble of taking out the side windows, then putting caravan windows in the blanking pieces. The high top is half a roof box and it’s got camper type graphics- maybe the owner is trying to get the logbook changed from Tricycle to Camper ! spartacus 1
