Luckythirteen Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 Some *meh* spots...Confused old man in a Fiesta Old couple having a domestic in a Cavalier. With sandwiches. Chevrolet Avalanche. Damn hell ugly from the front. Which is maybe why it's called Avalanche: 'cos you'll run screaming if it's coming towards you. Sorry for the crap pic. VelSatis V6 TD. Brave... Scabby Supra. The VelSatis and the Supra have one thing in common: both on actual blue badges. Not parked like a c*nt. Moar crappy Renault...much want.

steve_earwig Posted July 14, 2014 Posted July 14, 2014 I suspect this thread is for me, I didn't find one for "spotters that are so lazy they didn't take any pictures" thread yet so it'll have to do. Actually, I just found myself at the town's Monday market, up the back was the usual collection of garbage shite and I thought that now I'm starting to get the measure of this place I should take some pictures. Umm, no camera, no mobile, nada. Ah well, have a screen cap of the stojadin I was stuck behind on the way there A little further up the road and "What the f..k are you doing? Why have you stopped? Is 101 your age? Oh, now you started indicating, shame you didn't do that before, you witless old...etc." Love the optimistic towbar. vulgalour 1
fordperv Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 i saw this jewish racing gold beauty on tesco this little beauty was on a carpark in the town centre, bonus pineapple golf to laugh at last but no means least are these two beauties obviously owned by a winner in life, mrs fordperv spotted these while she was out with work yesterday and was that excited by her spot took me to see them when we finished work last night, for the eagle eyed amongst you, yes the maroon one is a 2.3d L for added misery AlabamaShrimp 1

Luckythirteen Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Sure I've seen that M3 about. Where was that?
Asimo Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 This Herald's place at the side of the road has been taken by a white XJ40: "Available for Wedding Hire". So now it is (dumped / abandoned / carefully parked / dry barn-stored) in a pull-in a few miles away. Choke still out. What is it? It's a Wirral!
Asimo Posted July 19, 2014 Posted July 19, 2014 Still on the subject of sad Triumphs, this sorry thing is about a mile from the Herald but 6 months after the fire is now protected (?) under a car cover. I doubt that anything is reusable from it, except maybe the cylinder block, but Triumph engines are not hard to find so why bother?I would want that mess off the premises as soon as!

beko1987 Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Had some decals on it and looked lowered This had the best parking spot at the car boot too, looked the part. Sounded deiseley when the owners came back, bit slow to start though
anonymous user Posted July 27, 2014 Posted July 27, 2014 Not worthy of a separate thread; small car show down the road from me. I didn't know it was on and from the attendance neither did many other people. vulgalour and steve_earwig 2
steve_earwig Posted July 28, 2014 Posted July 28, 2014 That's my conscience clear for the next month then...
Jim Bergerac Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Some spots from the last few weeks: Half-tidemark on this Rascal: Not usually a fan of T25s but the scruffiness of this one attracted my interest: Imagine driving off on your holidays in this. What a winner at life the owner must be! Not even sure what it is (might have had the residue of an Iveco badge now that I think of it). Fake Bugatti kit thing: vulgalour and steve_earwig 2
urpert Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Tidy unbothered Carlton parked in front of me in Chichester. Should have put a note on the windscreen.

HillmanImp Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Don't mind if I do. Mrs Imp was well into this but was oddly not as keen on anything I could ever afford to buy. HillmanImp Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Its a 2 day event. I did not register but you could turn up on the day but I did not decide to go until late and being in Hebden Bridge I thought the traffic would be naff so we went in the birds car. Yesterday was 60-80s cars and today was pre 60s. There are other things in it too but the stalls were a bit crap yesterday. I buess you would be pretty miffed if you have bashed your tidy Ro80 wouldn't you? Did not see the owned he was probably round the corner buying some filler and paint.
vulgalour Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Is that Camper not an ex prison lorry? It looks an awful lot like it is.
panhard65 Posted August 6, 2014 Posted August 6, 2014 Had a weekend away and managed a couple of finds. The Vitara was hiding in a hedge near where we were staying and the SM was on the M4 I love these cars but probably out of my range now.Excuse the silly picture effects the camera was playing up. It's still a lovely looking thing though anonymous user 1
steve_earwig Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I saw a couple of them at a dealer's in Milton Keynes once, must have been about 30 years back. I can't remember how much they were but well within my pocket. I did know a fair bit about them so I ummed and arred for a while and decided I'd never be able to afford to run one. Ok, I chickened out Meanwhile, waiting for a mate in a carpark here I spotted some old crap shite you lot might like: The first two were actually quite tidy, the Yugo just looked well worn but looked after. anonymous user 1
HillmanImp Posted August 8, 2014 Author Posted August 8, 2014 Is that a 600? Also has there been some sort of SM thing going off recently? There have been loads of spots of them on Facebook?
