GeordieInExile Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 My mam spotted this in the Czech Republic. A beauty. (The car, not my mam, although she looks alright for her age.) puddlethumper, danthecapriman, SteersWithThrottle and 5 others 8
Yoss Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 Outside a pub near Battle where we are staying at the moment. That I managed to park next to. But spot of the week and possibly of the year was in Tenterden this morning. Apparently still working for a living. MiniMinorMk3, Wibble, adw1977 and 9 others 12
puddlethumper Posted October 11, 2023 Posted October 11, 2023 A couple from the Netherlands. Asimo, CreepingJesus, MiniMort and 5 others 8

It's a bit restrictive having the dog with us. There are so many places to eat in places like Rye and Tenterden so we just buy nice things from a bakery and take them back to the farm. High Jetter 1

Yoss Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 Parked outside a very nice house in a ridiculously pretty road in Winchelsea. danthecapriman, Andrew353w, SteersWithThrottle and 1 other 4

As transfixed as Chieveley was with it I'm not sure sitting in an open sided carriage would be wise. He's a hefty lad - 45kg - and if he decided to leave on the move I'd be going with him. Admittedly it only goes just over walking pace so maybe it wouldn't matter. I'd like to take him on a real train that he can't jump out of but I know he would be straight up on the seats to look out of the window, he is very inquisitive, and that might be frowned upon by the staff!
High Jetter Posted October 13, 2023 Posted October 13, 2023 I think the rolling stock is sufficiently modern to have hinged wooden barriers. Yoss 1

Shite Ron Posted October 14, 2023 Posted October 14, 2023 This looked great on a visit to a local national trust gardens this morning, great colour too. This was also a surprise to see when walking the dog earlier this week: Ten years ago I would not have believed that I would be taking pictures of a Sierra or Skoda and also that an Estelle was by far the best car in the quite full carpark! But they both stood out in a positive way from the dismal vehicles around them. MiniMort, danthecapriman, Wibble and 6 others 9
Andrew353w Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 I spotted this delightful mark 2 Cortina estate this afternoon in Barnet. I thought it might be one of the rare G.T. estates, but I couldn't see a "G.T." emblem on the rear side. Dyslexic Viking, Shite Ron, SteersWithThrottle and 2 others 5
UltraWomble Posted October 15, 2023 Posted October 15, 2023 First time in 28 years I've been past this house and the (very tall) gates have been open. Chod heaven. MiniMinorMk3, Yoss, adw1977 and 6 others 9
eifion Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 This was just leaving the garage at the end of the road as I went for a lunchtime walk just now. I don't think I've ever seen one before. It has a 500cc, 2 cylinder engine and can be driven without a full licence according to the driver.
motorpunk Posted October 16, 2023 Posted October 16, 2023 Some from a quick trip to the south of France and Italy. Not a single Monaco-plated wankermobile photo'd, because I had a lob-on after spotting this... And what is this? Smol lecky cars can be cool.. Wanted to save this poor thing. A few more oddities here - https://www.motorpunk.co.uk/out-and-about/car-spots-monaco-menton-san-remo-elsewhere-motorpunk-style/ wheel nut, Shite Ron, MiniMort and 3 others 6
cort1977 Posted October 17, 2023 Posted October 17, 2023 Just seen this, never seen one in the metal. I know they're amazing and the v12 is hand built etc but it just looked too much like a Singapore cab from 20 years ago. Dyslexic Viking, SteersWithThrottle and MiniMinorMk3 3

The size is more RR Phantom than Mercedes S-Class, that alone gives it presence.
Andrew353w Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 I saw this lovely little old "X" reg Daihatsu Charade outside a café near Barnet. Blimey, this U.L.E.Z. is bringing out some good classics for every-day use! TheIsleofShite, High Jetter, MiniMort and 10 others 13

MiniMort Posted October 18, 2023 Posted October 18, 2023 I've gone to Ozzy-stralia! Might do a unique thread of the trip once I'm back home but for now have some toss: These were all from two days in Sydney. Going to Brisbane next, so expect more utes! Shite Ron Posted October 19, 2023 Posted October 19, 2023 I was excited to see this tonight when out walking the dog. I am starting to really like Anglia’s. MiniMinorMk3, Dyslexic Viking, MiniMort and 2 others 5
