mitsisigma01 Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Not one of these. And not one of these Or these But you've got to know when to just stop
mitsisigma01 Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 I think I've seen something similar years ago as a cycle team support car
sutty2006 Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 I’ve seen a jag done out like that at a banger track for parading the winners of certain races around. Stand in the back and hold on to the top rail across the roof. It’s a possibility

Zelandeth Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 The fact that we seem to be seeing more Proton Sagas turning up in apparently cherished condition these days rather than just run into the ground makes me far happier than it probably should. I still would really love to actually run one as a daily for a while as I've always liked the look of them and enjoyed the one I had as a "field" car prior to passing my test. Wasn't actually a field car...There was a couple of mile long fully paved private road belonging to a farm about 100 yards from our house, and we had agreement from the owner that I could drive up and down there to my hearts content provided I didn't get in the way. So my "field" cars were actually just as well looked after as though they were on the road normally and contrary to the case of most cars belonging to a 13-17 year old, most left my ownership in better condition than they entered it. I always saw them as the next generation of the Ladas. Simple, robust, comfy and just generally competent. I rather expect I'd need to pay more than the £20 I paid for G499ORS to get hold of one these days though! LightBulbFun, Amishtat and Austat 3
MiniMort Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 Here's a few photos I took from my visit to Bicester Heritage yesterday: Sadly I took a lot more video than film so there was a lot more I can't show you. But still, really nice to see LightBulbFun, Shite Ron, spartacus and 5 others 8
MiniMort Posted July 24, 2020 Posted July 24, 2020 And whilst I'm here I might as well show you some street spots too spartacus, Austat and worldofceri 3

Seems there's a Proton Owners Club here. Didn't know that.
HillmanImp Posted July 24, 2020 Author Posted July 24, 2020 Few spots from the last couple of weeks. I was at the garage the other day and they a chok full of rammell. SAAB 96, Midas Gold, Morgan, Landcrab Rally car, Volvo 244, Mk2 Cortina and about 20 minis plus several others I've forgotten. Fucking brilliant. Feel a bit rude taking photos to plaster over t'interweb though. noseypoke, Yoss, danthecapriman and 4 others 7

Yoss Posted July 25, 2020 Posted July 25, 2020 I'm sitting in a bar in Shoreditch right now and this has just sailed past. Proper old money here. Ignore the woman on the bike and zoom in to savour the patina. noseypoke, Austat, danthecapriman and 8 others 11

Here it is turning up at a timber yard in East London to pick up some wood. A job for which it is ideally suited. barrett, adw1977, noseypoke and 6 others 9

ProgRocker Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 This is the first Cortina I have spotted in the wild for quite some time: Shite Ron, 500tops, Amishtat and 5 others 8
Yoss Posted July 26, 2020 Posted July 26, 2020 These were five minutes walk away from where we saw the above Bentley A shitty as well as shite Porsche with a Jeep for company. And a decidedly less shite sibling. And this was outside the hotel bar last night whilst enjoying a nightcap. And some proper shite in Putney on the way home. worldofceri, Dick Cheeseburger, danthecapriman and 4 others 7
