He either wants something like the Cedric, or maybe something low and old American.

I've been coming round to the idea recently that I will probably never get to build all, or even possibly any, of my stock of 1/25 kits.  Is there anything American that Dominic fancies especially?  I will surely have something suitable for a tenner posted.  In fact I can feel a post approaching my sales thread.  Won't be tonight though.

Kent Models have a good range of Aoshima and Fujimi online. Tamiya kits are probably the nicest to build but don't have such an wide range, and some of the older American kits can be a bit challenging unless you get a recent release.

No harm in getting a snapfix for the first kit or two - I still build them now.

I’d possibly be interested in some of those too Eddy - give Dominic priority though, obviously

@TheDoctor I’ve got a stash of (mostly 80’s & 90’s Japanese) models that I’ve been hoarding much faster than I can build them. It would possibly be nice to see a few go to a good home. I’d have to check exactly what I have, but could any of those be something you’d be interested in?

Okay, back home now. Here’s what I found. Since I’m a bit of hoarder, there’s a few of these I’m slightly reluctant to part with, and I would quite like to keep some of them, but I don’t think I’ll ever get round to finishing them all. If there’s anything you see that either you or Dominic would like let me know. Most of them would be about £10 +post, apart from the Skyline and the Trabant, since I paid quite a bit for those. I’ve opened a few to check the contents, but they’re all complete and unstarted 

(this one also comes with all the bits to make a normal version as well as the drag racer)

a couple of pieces have broken off the sprue of the R5, but everything is still there and intact.

 

I also found this set of wheels I ordered from Japan at great expense. I hadn’t realised that the rear wheels were wider than the fronts until they arrived and I decided against using them in the end. I doubt I’ll ever use them for anything, so if anyone’s interested they can have them for a fiver, which is much less than I paid for them. As I really don’t know what they’re actually worth, I’m open to offers on these

I also found this RX7. I started it and I wasn’t happy with the paint, so I started to sand it back, but then gave up and got on with other stuff. It’s not much use to me as anything but spares, but it might be saveable by somebody more patient or skilled than me. Either that or it could be good for some practice before starting on some ‘nice’ kits. If someone wants it they can have it for the £3 it’ll cost me to post it. (The photos flatter the paint enormously - I doubt sorting this properly would be that easy)
