It just sort of burst while I was holding it. It's ludicrously brittle.

Would it be of any consolation if I told you that I spectacularly fucked up my Spot On one?

Is that the one which looked like the surface of the moon when it came out of the paint stripper?

This won't be to everyone's taste, I'm not even sure it's to mine, but I've tried to make the Vaux Vic look more like the bling it was influenced by. Base plate to be glued once paint has cured, and maybe glass unit to be re-instated, maybe.

Faults hidden from the camera's eye as per!

I like that, it’s very Boys’ Own Atomic. I’m thinking it’s better without glass.

They came with and without so leaving it out is no biggie.....

I love Marty's nifty super glue and baking powder fix when putting in new pillars using split pins.

They always were!  To me at least.  I never saw them as the most stylish, but that nose  is way too long for the wheelbase.

Let's start off with this.

I like those rally Mercs but always irked me they didn't represent the wiper arcs like they did on the Pullman years before!

Worth a few bob that complete with Tractors. Extra points if you can find the range topping Big MX Tractor Factort with the winch and the plastic Ford Factory.

I paid quite a few bob for it,

It is a nice example though.

It came from a shop in Cromer.

Good question. I've painted on paint stripper, one I posted about a while back, and left for 12-24 hours - by which time it's had enough of an effect to get most of it off, then it's wire wool by hand and then polish. However, they don't always bear close inspection using this approach.

Some MIB, some less so. I believe some are vaguely desirable, then again there are Maisto and Bburago shite mixed in.

My garage requires a Montego to be in it and I'm sick of the sight of them but equally I don't really want to deal with facebool marketplace - I don't have ebay.
