Not a surprise at all to those who are familiar with Oxford Diecast. Their models almost all have the identities of real cars, often ones that still exist.

I bet you bought the Sindy swimming pool set in the first pic!😆

@danthecapriman although we have to ask why you zoomed in on it when it's barely noticeable in that picture!

Apparently Italian, replacement boxes as the originals got sun damage very easily. None had any specifics on them as to which model was inside, just MB and a blank for the number. They were very tempting, £15 each. I bought the two trays of loose Matchbox off him last time but he wasn't willing to do me the same deal on those for some reason!

I would have, if it wasn't £80. He has some nice stuff but they're rarely a bargain. Here's what I got, with a couple of bits that arrived in the post today too. The Mrs also picked me up some bits in Smyths, more anon when I've taken pics

He had them in Kent last week, but I couldn't find him to ask the price!

She's happy with the playworn look and even likes it, but it had one headlamp missing which looked a bit crap so as Steve Flowers takes forever I cut a light off of a Lledo van and it looks so much better

I also managed to fit in a couple of modelling sessions over the holiday (not THAT kind!) and got a Pilen Volvo/Daf 66 I bought ages ago restored.

No A pillars and missing the dash and steering wheel plus front bumper

I originally painted it yellow, but as so often I had trouble getting an even finish and had to strip it off again. As I was painting a Corgi Astro Vette in copper metallic, I used it on this as well

Pilen has lovely detail cast into it with a grill and badges looking great, shame my painting skill isn't up to it! I decided on a Dutch plate coz Daf.

Oh look a rare Edil Lancia Flavia Coupe!  I thought

That was a large tin plate. Beetle was similar but too rusty for me. Possibly Bandai

I didn't get any die cast for Christmas, but I got this Spot On Ice Cream Van for Mrs Concern a few Months ago and luckily she was really pleased with it

That Spot-On ass cream van looks fantastic! Must be a weighty old thing in 1:42 as well. Those little A60-esq tail fins are superb!

You’ve done a blinding job on the DAF too, looks really nicely finished and that colour suits it well.
