Land Rovers, as a kid I had several Corgis and Dinkys, but never had the Dinky with opening doors and bonnet.

For some reason the ones I have a totally different scales.

I also have a Burago maybe? 1/24 one that's nice.

I think it was red and I painted it green

I'm sure I sent you that one in the the trailer stash around two years ago.  Do you still have it?

I really like it.

Oh, they've let that car park get overgrown haven't they...

That was the 'Millennium Land Rover' produced by Universal Hobbies.  They also did one in 1:18

Mine is the 1:18. I didn't pay anything like that for it, though; bought it at the Heritage Motor Centre when I visited it as a penniless student.  £25 rings a bell.

Nah. Never appealed to me, but a 59 panel van does. Another premium arrived in the week, mixed in with a lot of boring stuff. Also pickling in the stripper

Never knew about the Seaplane or the Gloster Meteor and others.  Also, who has the Lawnmowers and lawn roller ?!

Notice it was printed with the supplying toy shop name on the cover.   The US catalogue is very similar, some omissions and printed with US distributor details instead.

Not sure about 1954 Meccano France yet, not found to compare, but do have some examples of other years back a few pages here, inc 1958 and earlier:

Some more of Mr CMAC's 3D prints. I bought some Lada Cream paint off the shelf from Halfords just before Covid (no idea why it was still a stock item when the number of cars in that colour must be in single figures) and finally have a Lada to use it on.

Those are brilliant. You think he would make a Rover 75? I'd love one to paint up in Wedgewood blue.

extremely detailed work - do you use some kind of magnification - or just have very good eyes!
