I skipraided one of those from work a couple of years back.  I only picked it up because I wanted the bag for the back of my bike.  Still got the bag,  can't remember what happened to the camcorder.  It was a good bit of kit but not a great deal of use when my phone can do the same job (badly).

Posted

What tapes does it take and what's the recording format please? got some old stuff we never transferred from ours before it broke

Posted

The tapes are like cassette tapes, just a bit thicker. It says 8mm HS on the packet, dont know the format, how would I tell?.

Posted

This could work for me, I still have tapes I want to transfer to CD from the 90s.

Thanks Solid61 for our clandestine rendezvous in a secret lay-by, I now have the camcorder - Many Thanks

Any one for some older (1990s ?)  electronics lab equipment (make your shed look interesting)  things like oscillators and frequency generators, maybe the odd analogue oscilloscope etc. All working and PAT tested.  A load of components and what looks like Texas Instruments small batch slightly obscure but interesting chips, the sort of  "we can make these but what can you do with them ics" . No SMDs.   Will put up some pictures as I uncover the crap quality equipment.

Thurlby DVM gone

Fluke DVM gone

Farnell micro volt meter gone

Hmm, could go for a couple of those electronics bits. Are you averse to postage?

Posted

Which bits, quite a few have gone. The smaller buts will be post free but the bigger ones will need weighing and getting courier price.

Posted

Of what's not accounted for above, was wondering about an o/scope (pref. Farnell but either will do) and that funky yellow signal generator (though if you only have the RS one that's fine too). Happy to pay for postage.

OK. I'll weigh them tomorrow and get a Parcel monkey price.

Any call for any of these Haynes manuals? Each one yours for the cost of postage.

1559 Peugeot 405 Petrol 1988-Oct 1992 1580 cc 1905 cc

Last call for these before they go to the charity shop.

Probably a bit late now, but I don't suppose that you've still got the 405 Haynes have you?
