fordpoplier
Now knowing Fiestas came Stateside of course the ebay searches start and I pick up this for 99c! Then again, can’t imagine too many other bidders here. It’s a tiny bit big for my scanner but you see most of it. Hopefully of some interest. outlaw118
I always thought the Mark one fester to be quite a pretty little thing; those US spec bumpers are horrible, and totally ruin it. Gotta love the whitewalls on the ghia rims tho'
andrew e
Kia pride hommage!Note the fuel flap, quite a major pressing change, the dash aircon is mental too! Cheers for posting

Richard
Kia pride hommage! In a way the Kia Pride is a distant relation of the Mk1 Fiesta because the Mazda 121 and Fiesta both evolved into the same car.

gtd2000
I know, but the 3rd gen 121 was a mark 4 Fiesta I'm just yanking yer chain really - but in a similar vein the 3rd Gen 121 was actually the Mazda "Demio" Of course to make matter even more complex the original Mazda 121 was a big old barge from the mid 70's related to the Cosmo/RX models but I digress. Anybody need a petrol tank for a Mk IV Fester? I've got one that was sent in error when I needed one for my Mums 121 DB "Bubble" - Free to good home if collected

Station
LOL @ 'same brand carburettor used in Ferrari' and 'Fiesta's German heritage'. God, those bumpers look absolutely RANK. Is this for pedestrian safety? The theory that MORE METAL means safety! Or is it for 5mph crash thing?

Jack_Harpers_Teeth
Watching Starsky & Hutch a few months back and thought I saw a yellow Fiesta go past, then I just dismissed it as I often see things which aren't really there. But here is the evidence. Thanks for restoring a little bit of my sanity.

barrett
I'd like to see a US-spec grille/lights set-up fitted to a UK car with nice bumpers, could look good...
Minimad5
Barrett - there is a nice one like that on the Mk1 forum I think it's reg was - A438 VCV It had a US spec grill, with the round headlights and thin black bumpers. It also had the US spec rear lights
hennabm
I like the way the brochure describes the engine as "transerve(that's sideways)"!!! Only in America.
