those tossers that own that 'garage' should be force fed rust and have american tourists forced into their veins. fartbeat has long finished, and they still attempt to make a living off it.

Goathland used to be a lovely village, before they started filming there. I know a couple with 3 kids, who lived there for years, but were effectively forced out by slack-jawed gawpers looking through their windows everyday of the week and some even had the cheek to knock on the door and ask to come in. On the plus side they made about 200K on the sale of the house and invested in a car sales pitch which now turns over a pretty penny.

Llandudno!

Parked at the top of a steep hill just behind the Grand Hotel, was a stunning Beige base model mk2 Cavalier saloon when I took the Volvo down to bed the new pads in last year. I had some pictures of the bus and Cavalier, but the camera they were on got stolen a few days later.

 

I forgot to go and look for it when we went back a few weeks later, because the cars were just starting to arrive in Llandudno for the Three Castles Rally the following day.

 

I did find this Cavalier though, which was my non Three Castles spot of the day.

 

 

I’m hoping to get down again on Saturday 8th June to watch the final day of the rally this year.

That explains the MASSIVE traffic jam I got stuck in yesterday afternoon, heading back along the A55 from a weekend's Calibra spannering session at a mate's house near Conwy

It's always mental on the 55 anywhere near a bank holiday. We left about 2.30pm I think and it was pretty much ok until we got to the Rhyl turn off then it started getting a bit silly as all the dole cheats* went home after a long weekend.

 

 

*I know they were dole cheats as they drove Toyota Previas, Rover 600s and Mk6 Escorts.

I reached the A55 just after Conwy about 3.30, and was almost certainly in the only white pre-facelift 8v Calibra on the road. Sure you'd have noticed that.

Talking of which there was a SRSLY tidy yellow Calibra for sale at the side of the road somewhere near Llandudno. I was about to suggest turning back for a scan of it but the missus gave me one of those looks.

If the paint's original it will probably be an SE2, which makes it a pre-facelift with the C20XE. A fairly safe investment IMO.
