Joint winnars for me are ChinaTom, for spending silly amounts of money to keep a ropey pub-landlord spec Jaguar in the best possible condition, when most others would have got rid a long time ago, proving that money and common sense are not factors in running an old car,

And Pete M for unflinchingly running a matching pair of big thirsty V8 Rovers and laughing in the face of petrol bills and anything with less than 6 cylinders, then buying a ridiculous Jag and driving it to Czech and back

Thread of the year has to be, as always, ebay tat. No matter what is going on elsewhere in here, Messrs Pog, Bollox and Hirst can drag the most ridiculous vehicular disaster areas possible out of a hedge and to the attention of probably the only audience in the world that knows exactly what it is, knows why it went wrong, knows which bits will sort it out, owned one in the eighties and would quite possibly buy one for shits and giggles.

Members car of the year - dieselnutjob for his Peugeot 604. Letting me drive it around the NEC car park has caused me to buy one. Which needs work. I don't need a 604. Yet I now own one. Cheers Phil!. Runner up has to be Wat for the Amazon. Chasing that bloody thing to Cholmondely in the Autoshite convoy was great fun. Boobydoo for the Chrysler just out of respect for the brownness of it. Owning Tagoras is just taking the piss.

Special mention to Wat, Minimad and all those who arranged events. The ones I've been to have been good, and the pics from the museum one dahhhhn saaahhhhf looked good.
