I bought a digital gauge a couple of years ago.

Second day I had it, loaned it to my youngest daughter, never seen again (the tyre gauge, not the daughter)

Somone posted a letter of apology from Brisgestone on RR saying they underestimated the demand. I haven't heard of anyone receiving one yet.

I didnt receive mine. The irony of the newly punctured tyre on my Vectra has not escaped me.

Every time I go to check the tyre pressures the pump is either broken or it is too dark to see the damned thing.

Called in at an Esso station last week and it was 50p to use the machine. No thanks.

After posting on here, I completed the 'contact us' section on the Bridgestone website, got an e-mail reply within a couple of hours asking for my address (because I didn't fully complete the form) & then last night, another e-mail enclosing a pdf of a letter from some European manager.

This was most amusing, apparently the offer was posted on some freebie site & demand became ludicrously high, the Bridgestone site crashed & it all went tits up.

The covering e-mail said they are still sending them out & mine would arrive within the next couple of weeks.

I suspect the thing to say if you do this, is that you applied in November (or similarly early) when the offer was still only on motoring forums like this and demand was still within their acceptable parameters.

Suzuki sent me a genuine Suzuki tire pressure gauge. That is right–Suzuki says my V-Strom is better than yours. The Suzuki Tire Pressure Gauge is part number 990A0-99006, and handles tire pressures up to 60 psi.
