purplebargeken Posted March 29 Posted March 29 The Picasso will hopefully be returning to its previous owner on Wednesday pm. This means that a space will become available. We all know that the AS gods despise an empty automotive space. So…. in order to appease the gods (and then some), I am picking up the Picasso replacement tomorrow. Kollekshun location: Skipton. AS seller: a closely* guarded* secret* The new vehicle: has an auto box, tons of space, caramac coloured interior and is a big diesel. Departure from Liverpool Lime Street tomorrow at 10.54hrs. Passenger Status: flash bastard 1st class. Cue surly and dismissive facial expression. Useful items listed for taking: cup holder, phone charger cable, blue badge. Bank card. Photos: quite probably. Here, have a taster. Dave_Q, chodweaver, Rocket88 and 5 others 8
High Jetter Posted March 29 Posted March 29 That will cheer a Monday up! purplebargeken and 95 quid Peugeot 1 1
purplebargeken Posted March 29 Author Posted March 29 It’s not that difficult to be honest, however, as this involves a car it’s quite likely the best method. Rocket88 1

purplebargeken Posted March 30 Author Posted March 30 It’s a big Vectra CDTD Elite estate. Bloody comfy, heated seats and cruise and it has tons of oomph. Very happy with it. Poo count: 1 (upon returning home), or is that re-turding?? Keymaster 1
purplebargeken Posted March 30 Author Posted March 30 Sadly no handover pics as Mr Rocket88 had to grab the train that I arrived on and if attempted a woolarding pic, I would have just fallen over. Rocket88 and Keymaster 1 1
Bren Posted March 30 Posted March 30 I loved ours. The 1.9 anyway. The 3.0 was a lemon. Sadly it's not been taxed for some time so it must have been weighed in.

It didn’t pressurise the system. I took it to a guy who knew about these engines - his own suffered HGF and he fixed it himself. He spent £1500 on parts and the repair lasted 8k. We sold it for spares. And took a big hit. Our local indy vauxhall specialist wouldn't touch it. Plenty of information on the internet- for some reason saab's with this engine seemed to have more issues.

Good friend of mine, who’s a Vauxhall nut, has had two 3 litres, and loves them… but says they will not suffer lack of maintenance lightly
Keymaster Posted March 30 Posted March 30 Nothing to worry about then, Ken is fastidious on his maintenance 👍 purplebargeken 1
