I’ve just bought a 1991 AIWA hifi separate tape player for my system and recovered a mass of blank tapes from my dad’s basement. So if you want anything recorded onto tape give me a shout. I can record from streaming services!!! So anything really! 
 

Also, Genesis is a good choice.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.

I suppose you've had your time with Vectra Bs so I guess you want to try something else. Mustard mitt, its nice to see a clean Nexia, especially on those alloys which look properly OEM.  Its one of the rare times I look and think, those aftermarket alloys look great on it. The colour is nice too.

Note, 'WP' indicates it was originally registered in Worcester. My Mk2 Sterling's plate ends "AWP".

What's it like to drive? Weren't these originally a replacement for the Mk2 Astra? 

Many years ago when I was in and around Syria and Turkey, I used to see loads of the proper Mk2 Astra Daewoos, many were badged as a Pontiac LeMans/Daewoo Racer or something;

Yeah, you wouldn't be racing much in that.

I dare you to badge that up as a Vauxhall Astra GTE or something.

As an aside a good pal of mine worked for Daewoo down at South Street in Glasgow when these came out as a mechanic/technician. They offered them to the staff a much reduced price so he ended up with a Nexia in that gold/yellow colour. He said there wasn't much difference from his old 1987 MK2 Astra but offered good value.

Yeah, it's a bit of a change from the Vectra in terms of refinement. 

The wheels are off a Corsa C SXI and are far too big for the car. The ride is truly awful over speedbumps and the like, and badly need balanced anyway. I've got some 13" steel wheels for it and a set of painful looking wheel trims that are almost period, since GLi trims are non-existent nowadays.

The colour is nice, but I do wish it had more lacquer 😂

Decent enough, the automatic is hilarious. It drives like a slightly dimwitted go-kart.
