The story of this latest Lupo is that on the 13th of April we were coming back from the local boot sale and spotted this on a drive a couple of streets from home

Having done a quick handbrake turn and gone back for a look, the owner appeared, young lad who was at his girlfriend's mum's place. We had a chat about the car, pretty much the ideal old dear owned, low mileage example that he'd bought and done some mods to like coilovers and alloys (15" aftermarket 3 spokes that I thought were ugly). We mentioned owning other yellow Lupos and asked him to let us know if he wanted to sell it. A week later the car was for sale but a bit out of our price range and we didn't have space (still don't!). However it remained unsold and eventually he reduced the price to a point we felt we couldn't ignore, so sent a deposit and arranged to collect from his home.

It's got lots of little bits that need attention but it drives like a 50k mile car, very quiet and smooth even with the lowering. Looks really cool buzzing along the motorway too, people were taking pictures from other cars on the way home last night

We have, it's a two car drive but with the footpath three squeeze on. Problem is there's a 4th silver Lupo at my friend's mum's and nowhere for my Passat. Parking on the grass is banned since her dad's Vitara took up residence there during a long drawn out cylinder head replacement debacle

Three yellow Lupos is mental every by the standards of this place. In the best possible way.

Headlights polished up. Indicator panel knackered 🙄 I've managed to improve the fit of it at least but it needs a (hen's teeth) unbroken one
