Very late registered MK2 Mondeo considering the MK3 was already out by October 2000 and Y plates came out in March 2001

There was quite an overlap between Mark 2 and Mark 3 Mondeos, the first Mark 3s being X reg but quite a few Mark 2s on 51 reg, or at least there were.  I haven't seen a Mark 2 for ages now.

That Mondeo was new on 19th April 2001. It was a decent run-out model, the 2.0 Zetec-S.

I've seen Astra H vans on a 60 plate before, but 11 is rare for a hatch

The Astra H van went to 13 reg!

I just saw a black *15 reg 1.3 CDTi* Vauxhall Astra J estate, HF15 FKO! Normally, a 15 or 65 reg Diesel one would be a 1.6 CDTi at minimum, with the 1.3 CDTi no longer being offered by then (not since 63 or 14 reg, depending on the trim). Also, it has a "date of first registration" of March 2015, but a "date of first registration with the DVLA" of February 2018. Normally that would mean an import, but it's a Vauxhall, so it wouldn't be?

Perhaps from Channel Islands.

A-reg Bentley T2? Definitely late reg madness as they stopped making them in 1980 and I've seen the successor models on W-reg. DVLA says 1980 build but not registered until March 1984. Not the sort of car there'd be lots of unsold stock of so I wonder how that happened.

Currently on eBay. Ok it’s a D plate, but it was registered in April 87, and the mk2 had been launched in September 86 and was well underway.

it’s a GL, but has CD alloys, 2.2 fuel injected engine and other CD items, but has manual windows and no side skirts. They definitely chucked all the parts they had left over on this one!

The parentals also had a very late mk1 facelift on a D-plate.

The GL could be had with the 2.2i engine and the alloy wheels were a factory fitted option.

I can see 2.2i engine as an option but not alloy wheels.

Late registration madness? Can't remember the last first gen UK market Previa I saw but this does seem late for one

Must be! The Previa was 9 years in the UK before this car was reg'd. I can't remember when the next Previa came out - it couldn't be much later.

That must be one of the last as the second-gen Panda launched in May 2003 as a direct replacement. Interestingly though DVLA say it's a 2002 build first registered overseas in April 2003.

I spotted an old B3 Audi 80 this morning. The reg was P944FTT, which would make it an Exeter allocation from mid-1997. I remember the original A4 receiving its first update by early P-reg (new rear lights, painted handles/door mirrors, lost the oval Audi badge on the front wings), not long before receiving another one that following September (new wheels, upholstery, colours, some of the engines).

That 80 would have been made anywhere between 1987 and 1992. The MOT history shows its mileage in km's and its first one was in 2008, so it could be an import. It's a 75bhp 1.6 petrol too. And it looks like it's painted in Tornado Red, a very early B3 colour (replaced by Laser Red post-'91).

No photo of it, as I was super-busy piloting a decker loaded with Crimbo shoppers at the time. A black-bumper basic 80 with gingercators looks very unusual with P reg number plates. Some of the very last B4 Avants made it to N reg and I've seen Cabriolets on W reg, but I've never seen an 80 saloon past '95M.

aye thats an import, has been allocated an age related P prefix plate according to its date of first registration from whichever country it was imported from

Stumbled across this on Flickr.

LR02BSY

Apparently it was the very last Bedford built, by Marshall SPV in 1997, and stood unregistered in the factory showroom until it was sold to a film company in 2002. It eventually ended up with the BBC around 2007 and is still around on SORN somewhere. Definitely one that deserves to be preserved.

Could've sworn I just saw what looked like an early 2000s Mercedes-Benz Sprinter flatbed chassis cab on a 13 reg - KN13 HPX. Shrewsbury / Shropshire area.

Could That Be The Latest 107 I Ever Saw?? Or Is It More Likely A Bumper Replaced??

The X300 was only one year away from that Double Six. Lovely find.
