All up for auction if anyone fancies some twisted shite? its only the capri thats been given a category B, so if you are enough of a mentalist you could put the others back on the road

Whoever was in that Crapi must've been going at a fair old speed.

Passenger compartment appears to have stood up quite well though.

That beetle looks pretty nice.

Probably a very easy fix for someone who knows what they are doing. Unfortunately i dont, i have trouble keeping up with the cars i have at the moment. :(

Low mileage 1600 Automatic - cant of been going that fast

That looks like the Beetle i pushed from traffic lights (and contained an attractive lady or two)

Such a shame to see what I suspect was a cherished classic written off like that. Joyriders, do we think? Doubt whoever owned it would be likely to be driving it in the sort of fashion that might end up like that.

Motorbike going the other way...?

The Minor is a real cracker, saw it the last time I was in.

That Capri 'dent' is almost cartoon like. It's as if it hit a bin bag full of feathers at 2000mph as there is no scratches on it, just a bizarre impression.

Posted

I recon that Capri has run into a fat bloke on a pelican crossing.

Ive always fancied buying up an old classic and repairing the accident damage. I bet its much easier to repair than rust, plus as the car has been pranged all the filler would have dropped out, revealing the cars true condition. Winner!

I once bought a Rover 214 as a lightly damaged write off from a salvage place. The repair was easy but there was more work to do than I first thought. After adding up the cost of the parts and the VIC check it would have been nearly as cheap to buy an undamaged car. It was still alot of fun though.

The VIC check is a piece of piss BTW, although there can be a few weeks wait before they can fit you in. Do not be afeared!

That would definiately be worth some coin.

Major WANT on that Mercedes..

Yeah I know what you mean, but I love the colour as well, so understated and classy, and the subtle two tone-ness of it lol. WANT. looks really quite clean compared to the other rubbish they have there,

Im really tempted by some of the motorbikes on that website as well.

rather likin this:

That is the nuts, not sure about the colour like its so grey almost like its not there, but i could roll in that any day of the week.

I've done exactly that damage to a capri! They are quite bizzare looking after a centre front shunt cos of the long nose.. instant 18" crumple zone followed by a sudden stop as the engine/front crossmember hits the immobile object.

I understeered straight into a traffic island with a lamp-post on it at about 25mph.. poor car :( even snapped the steering rack in half.

Last time I looked they weren't fetching big money, surprisingly little really.

I reckon it's a fantastic car and the colour suits it very well, just hope it won't get sold to some cockhead who'll spray it a garish colour.

Looks like I spotted this back in March. Already had the comedy front end damage.

Take the grille and bumpers off the early Shad, you'd make your money back several times...

/\ To the point where you might even have a free Rolls Royce by buying both to make a goodun then selling off the spare bits. :D

I was thinking that, build one out of two, good game! You'd need a bloody big workshop though...
