I'm going to guess Cadillac Allante, based on a perhaps unrealistic desire for it to be something utterly deranged.

A Tesla S that is on fire.

2.5 mk2 shogun with an 8" body lift and a snorkel not connected to the airbox.

No carpets and a C.B radio, also not connected?

Heard the engine run, it sounds pretty healthy all things considered. Purchase has been agreed...

New V5 for the original plate is on its way already by the looks of it, seller will drive it over to me to do the deal as soon as it lands!

Not a very exciting collekshun fred, but I'm rather excited for the big reveal.

Still nobody has guessed it :)

Is there a slowest ever collection thread for a 5 mile trip? 😅

I was planning to flatbed it over but the private plate put a fly in the ointment. Then it became apparent that the OMGHGF is not fatal overheating HGF but instead milky HGF and the seller's offer to drive it back was rather kind and too good to refuse!

Success?

Most likely going to be mid next week by the time the V5 lands. At least its actually been issued so it should be quick.

As soon as it arrives, its mine

Nobody's guessed it.

My Triumph Acclaim used to eat head gaskets, so I'll guess that or maybe a Logo.

A GM V6 of some description ?

They are fond of mixing oil / coolant due to oil cooler failure if coolant changes are neglected.

No bites, because I thought the reveal is supposed to happen once it's in my possession ;)

Awwww 😟

You could give totally misleading hints that has us all thinking you’ve had a total brain fart and bought a Skoda Estelle??

I’m going for an MB Civic in 1.5 litre flavour. Close enough to a Rover to feel like home, especially with the popped HG.

Not sure how you’d blow the HG in one mind.

Collekshun'ed (well, kindly dropped off by the seller)

Pretty over the moon with it, it has it's faults (full writeup in due course) but nothing a bit of TLC can't solve!

So what exactly is it?

An MG ZR+ 105 Trophy SE! One owner since 2005 (dealer preregistered so I'm going to show as the 3rd owner on the logbook)

I don't think anyone guessed it :)

A ZS would have been my preference but it's an itch I needed to scratch before prices turn silly as they thin out. And I'll hopefully be saving a good example, so happy days. I would have been mad to turn down a genuine, straight, low mileage one owner example

Have you had a look underneath yet? If there's no rot it's a good buy.

I'm going to say it's a good buy even if it's got some rot ;) - I can weld, no Biggie. But I should probably check it's not totally rotten before going too far!

I can't stop looking out the window 🤣

What a car for virtually no money :)
