Nice, saw one back in Marrakesh about 2 years ago. When you are surrounded by 30+ year old beat up shitboxes everywhere this looks properly luxurious. How does it drive?

Yes!!! Love a 607!

Great purchase!

That looks ace. Twas only weeks ago I found one locally and posted on the tat thread, bemoaning the fact that no shiter was running one.

Please tell us everything @95 quid Peugeot: what engine, what warning lights, what broken trim.

Posted

It's pretty spot on 2.2 diesel auto ,been well looked after.

No trim broken very tidy inside black leather, everything seems to function .

Only a couple of minor issues, when I got it, we're a few dash lights on but I put that down to one or both batteries being borked , I drove home 45 miles, checked both and I'm guessing it's the rear one,

There's a TADTS, multi function display  unreadable

Ohhhh, nicely bought.

Been a while since I saw one of these beauties on the road.

Safe home, and look forward to hearing more about it soon (but not too soon!)

2.2 HDI auto probably the one to have with these.  I had a 2.0 HDI with a manual 'box - bit underpowered and the usual slightly rubbish Peugeot gear change spoiled the waftiness a bit.

Posted

Lovely!

I drove a brand new one as a taxi in 2001, can’t remember if it was 2.0 or 2.2 HDI. It was unbelievably smooth and comfortable, but broke down every now and then. Most of the time it just FTP’d and had to be towed. The dealer said it had something to do with the particulate filter and gave us a box of small bottles of additives for when fuelling.

All in all it was working 50% and in a workshop 50%. I’d still like to have one.

Top notch buyage!

Blimey, that's awesome!  I can't even remember the last time I saw a 607.

There's a colour-coded button inside the "0" of "607".

If I recall correctly, the 307CC has the same feature.

It does. 0 falling off seems to be fairly common though.

First gen 508 saloons also had this - I remember my dad having one as his company car when he was working for Peugeot.
