New member to Autoshite - Cars past n present

Thought I would introduce myself, I live on the Wirral with my 2 kids n mrs. I am a VW nut and thought I would show you my motors past n present

 

My 1st car, 1 owner 92 Scirocco

Next came the Caravelle

Sold the bus, bought a Polo as a daily

And this was a project, 67 ragtop

The 67 proverd a bit much for me, so swapped for this, 411, awesome motor!!

Then bought summat sensible, MK3 GTi

Now to the present day, this is my baby, my 76 1200 bug, 83 km's from new, LOVE IT!!!!!!!

Should have a MK2 Golf as well, just trying to sell my SAAB 900 daily, got no pics of that!!!

 

Lookin forward to having a look at the site n lookin at shite (sorry, couldnt resist)

Aaah I wondred if Wal was VZi Wal, but I recognise the Golf and Pea Green Beetle so I guess you must be I do like the colour of the bug, very 70s!

On VZi, I am Pillock :)Were you down at the bottom of VZi camping at Big Bang? I remember walking around with Andrew and Abi and there was a bug that colour parked down there, can't remember what wheels it was wearing though. But yeah, it suits the Mk1 Golf very well, quite a common colour back in the day. I always think it weird that they were selling Beetles such as yours alongside Golfs in the dealers....

Welcome along chief.+1 on the Beetle and 411. The latter seem very under-rated to me and appear to have (thankfully) avoided the scene tax radar.Quite a few fellow North Westerners on here, you'll have to come to a meet up or somthing one day.

Cool!!Yeah I was in VZi camping on the left hand side towards the back of the field.There is a Golf on VZi for sale at the mo but the price is quite high, 5k !!! It is a very early one though!
