I papped this years back as the old guy who built it lived on my street in Brussels. He's knocking on 80 now and still working odd days at the Citroen garage..... I managed to have a go around the block in it.

Another strangely popular mod for the Beetle. I don't know if someone produced these bodies or if dozens of people all had the same idea/skills to make wrought iron. It can't be an easy shape to reproduce correctly. 

Also not a great idea if you wear a miniskirt I would think!
