The daftest shite creations...

If it didn't have so much plastic shite stuck all over it and they'd spent a bit more time on the interior, I would quite like it.

I like crackling, but not when it's got hairs on it!

^^^^^ now that wouldn't pass the Construction and Use regs, the wheels are just proud of the wings. Not sure this would pass either -

Not a real split, but that rear window section looks legit

Ever since I can remember you've been able to get split rear window kits in fibre glass...

and now you can get them in metal

Ah I knew about the 'glass ones but didn't know you could get a metal stamping - it wasn't uncommon in the 80s for people to chop the rear section out of a split, especially the many left in the woods in Sweden, and weld it into a later bug. Of course now those cars would be snapped up and restored, but we were young and stupid then...

My Beach Buggy was based on a 1954 chassis. I brought the Buggy as a resto project and sold it still as a resto project after a year of faffing about. It was an early GP SWB, so probably first put together in the early 1970s. I had it from 1982 to 1983.

I seem to recall Custom Car put together a baja using a '49 body...

Made by Michelin and used on some SM models.

Also they are not alloy, they are made of resin.

Carbon fibre rims, probably the first use of CF in a production car.

There are not made with carbon fibre. They were made using resin with fibre strands mixed in, not from sheets of carbon weave.

The spiel you put in literally says they're made of CF? Why are you picking an argument with yourself?
