This doesn't look shabby for £550

No-one wants it though... It's been for sale for months at that price

Glad I can whip out the "lack of funds" excuse

I wish someone would grab that Ital. It comes up every few weeks and looks ok for the money.

I passed it on the M4 near Bridgend around Christmas time. Looked pretty sound and was more than keeping up with the traffic.

OMG, That Ital has "ME" written all over it!! I had one as my first ever car. much derided but up to 40+ mpg on a very careful run and I had an indicated 100mph out of it with much bouncy valveness. You can also fit a type 9 5 speed to them, many A series tuning bits are available, plus telescopic shock conversion for the front

I want it, i want it, somebody buy my volvo 740 off me to release funds/parking space? please?

You are my old school minibus and I claim my £5.

That sunroof makes me despair.

Time for some Raymanboy to cheer me up

If the tuning in any one item is not ok Pal, i do it again. If the finish has been spat on by Carrier Pigeon 10, then may be SHE didnt SPIT the fire number 9 had. You have to FLY your piano, viewer. That if her touch isn't UP 4 it, I get her playing AGAIN.

Oh sweet crap he's off the medication, I clicked the first video, it started with a Quadrophenia mobility scooter and then what appears to be Raymanboy himself in a blonde wig and dress playing his piano. Once my dinners settled I may chance another watch in fullscreen with the sound on.

Hmmmmm, scratchy beardy. How are these on fuel? Awful I guess? I need stop gap car for a month or so. Do you recon it'd last :)

Wait a minute... it's a French diesel estate car, but it's called "Sports"? This looks like a serious case of Abuse Of English, sergeant! Fire up the Quattro!

I don't think that blue Nova is too far out of bed to be honest. Perhaps about £1495 or so would be better but they're getting scarce now and that does look a treat.

20 around town, 28 on the autoroutes! Or... 7 if you really like listening to it growl! :D

That engine is THE one to go for, probably because Renault had very little to do with it's design! It's chain driven and pretty much bulletproof. It's be a hoot of a stop gap - and I'll catch a flight over for it once you're done

Not quite! I remember those cans too, but not the ad. Don't think I ever actually partook.

I seem to remember the taste being....well.....quattro. :-)

What could go wrong? £2500. Anyone?

Seriously? Apart from the EGR, or the turbo, or the shitty keycards, cracked inlet manifolds or the random anti-pollution faults? :D:D

That wont hang about!

It's mint!

Sadly:

good points::

Has a back axle

Bad points

Said axle needs removing before it can be fitted to a chevette

Haha, it's like someone ran up the arse of a proper f40 and shunted the wheels forward 10", then rather than sort it out proper, someone just moved the arches to make up for it.

I do like it though.

I still have a Micro Machines F40, the one that had opening features and this TR40 totally looks like it.

Wheels and odd black paint aside I'd happily cause 57 miles of queues on the A55 by doing 12mph and slowing down to look at cows.

It's sort of like a Bedford Debonair but without an engine. Buy it and win!

I appreciate we're all a bit bored of Maestros by now (personally I'm not :) ) but here's a cracker, if not a little steep:
