That Galant seller is taking the piss. He's trying to get round fees, I reckon, listing at £100, then inviting offers....

Someone should buy it.....or at least try and buy @ £100 then kick up if he won't sell it....

Same seller as the R11 innit, so expect that to leap up to some faintly absurd figure at some point later tonight. To be honest, it looks properly lovely so is probably worth whatever number he pulls out of his hat. It's not like you're ever gonna find another one

Open to offers though? I honestly don't think that is too far off the mark. As Hirst pointed out he has a 1.1 Mk2 Fezza for £1695, in comparison this doesn't seem that pricey. The days of picking up big RWD Jap saloons for peanuts are sadly over, someone somewhere will be prepared to shell out for it if it's as good as it looks.

It's possibly worth it but it's the £100 'submit best offer' crap he lists which he then changes to a much higher price that bugs me. Probably some sort of fee evasion nonsense.

Sod it though, not worth getting aeriated about.

He is a bit of a chancer that Galant feller, he used to sell a lot of cars on eBay as 'life on mars type of cars', asking strong money for (admittedly usually fairly nice) 80's street furniture chod. He was ALWAYS having a closing down 'sale' then popping up again shortly after with a new username.

 

He's had that galant for years, and has made a couple of half-arsed attempts to sell it (with broken windows) or find some glass for it. Looks like he found some eventually.

DVLA details for that timewarp trio checks out as well, all have been untaxed since 1990, 1991 and 1995, what on earth! Just shows you what is still out there though. Lets hope they have a Talbot or FSO coming up....
