You may notice a slight bias in favour of one manufacturer! I don't intend to do anything about these, but it's interesting to get a feel for the market. We've often thought about having a camper; it's looking increasingly like a good idea for next year. And yes, there is one chassis that will be top of my shopping list, not least because I could possibly get one with free road tax. Bedford CF series 1, 2.3 petrol, automatic, with towbar and toilet compartment. Sorted. :D

Now that Sierra is appealing!

Didn't you see the white but otherwise identical example on C&C for £500 a couple of weeks back? £1100 for a Sierra just makes no sense to me, sorry.... I would obviously love one, but not at that price

Posted

You'd get that for £900, The white was cheaper but this one has a slightly better spec and engine, 2.3 V6 compared to the 1.8 Pinto, In a couple of years time you be wishing that you could still buy a Sierra Ghia for under £1000 or even £2000!

Car Transplants (Nantwich, Cheshire) had a sorry looking old Volvo out front on Wednesday. I don't know what model it was but it was a four door saloon and looked like Watanabe's.

If anyone need owt for one of those it might be worth giving them a call as it definately looked like a breaker.

Here for sale is my Ford Zodiac Abbott of Farnham Estate car. A huge premium in their day meant that few were sold, and very few survice today

I bought this car in May as a barn find in the Northern reaches of Scotland and had it transported to a secure dry storage unit in Glasgow. It has remained there untouched ever since

The garage I worked at in the early 90s had a Mazda 121 as a courtesy car, I thought it was the coolest car there! Never did get to drive it, I always seemed to end up with a 323 or the uber cool B2000 pickup whenever I had to go out on an errand.

Btw, how do you copy the image off eBay normally? The one in my last post was from a traders ad where the photos were shown further down the page and allowed me to save it, but when I right click an image to 'save as' I only get the option to save the complete web page. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, if so please point me assertively in the right direction! :D

That's the fella! There was something chodworthy next to it but I can't remember what it was :(

I think its under a M2 Jag shell.

BTW that blue allegro is a "Special" model, one of only two Automatics left in existence and the only one on the road, apparently. I own a manual, one of 4 left.

Investing in rare Japanese gems, may prove fruitful in the long run. Inspector Knacker wants to know where the stocks came from, so no column for about 3 years. Maybe 2 with parole...

All this and more in your super everyday 7p Daily Shite. Cheaper than Tesco Value bog roll, and not as harsh on your arse.
